Dear my car travels to down town daily where traffic is usually congested and slow.. I m getting 11 Km/L on this route.. On same route my 9th gen Civic is giving 9-9.5

well actually i was very excited about paddle shifts before delivery but practically i have hardly used this function

Haan agar traffic bohot zada hai tou you will get 11-12 on light foot. And mere khiyaal say yeh avg best hai local k liye 1.8 ki

Grande is the best!

There is a thing that is called driving pleasure ,and that does exsist in grande , soft suspension ,good breaks ,nice steering feel and response and to top it of the CVT transmission ,u have to drive the car to experience the smooth effortless shifting. I have the grande in super white as well. Will post a pic of it.

yes dear i own Grande and present shape Civic both and without any doubt for first time ever a Corolla is actually much better than Civic... Pick and Fuel Mileage of Grande is far better than Civic alongwith excellent soft suspension.... Grande is the winner this time

I knew some one will mention this some day on Pak wheels .. now you should thank Toyota Indus for providing useless features and NOT giving security features like atleast dual Air bags and Immobilizer ....

I have seen in BBC Top Gear, now most of the cars come with pedal shifters and the presenters use them while doing test drives

I think it's not entirely up to Toyota Indus Motors to give which feature they please and which they don't. Specially in the case of Paddle Shifter, I think it's with the CVT-i tranny. And it might not have cost them too much in the same package while presenting CVT-i as compared to a second airbag. And top it off, a new feature in the Pakistani market intended to steal the show from Honda.

No both grande and non grande comes with the same cvti transmission.grande includes the paddle shifters

Corolla 1.8 is a totally new car, except for alloy rims

Xli-Gli have old 2NZ-FE 1.3 engine
Gli AT has old 4 speed transmission
Altis 1.6 has old 1ZR-FE 1.6 engine with old 4 speed transmission
