I hit the highway on Saturday morning on my GD. While at "cruising" speed, I noticed my GD started coughing - as in the bike started to jerk when I tried to push it beyond 80 km/h. By the way it didn't go beyond 95 km/h.
After coming back, I went to Suzuki workshop and told them the problem. They shrugged it off stating "this is a design fault in GD. You should mix hi-octane fuel with regular fuel to overcome this problem". And I came back home with a long face.
But I am not ready to digest this explanation. Can someone give me a sane explanation as to what's actually happening here and what do I need to do about this?
I had the air filter replaced about 2,000 kms ago. Bike revs perfectly well below 80 km/h.
