Jitna mujhe pata tha, utna maen ne usay bataya. To pehla comment yeh tha k 70 - 75k ki honi chahiye thi ta k har koi le sake. I hit the highway on Saturday morning on my GD. While at "cruising" speed, I noticed my GD started coughing - as in the bike started to jerk when I tried to push it beyond 80 km/h. By the way it didn't go beyond 95 km/h.

After coming back, I went to Suzuki workshop and told them the problem. They shrugged it off stating "this is a design fault in GD. You should mix hi-octane fuel with regular fuel to overcome this problem". And I came back home with a long face.

But I am not ready to digest this explanation. Can someone give me a sane explanation as to what's actually happening here and what do I need to do about this?

I had the air filter replaced about 2,000 kms ago. Bike revs perfectly well below 80 km/h.

Sprinter is 9:6:1 whereas GD is 9:5:1 so the octane mixing logic might not be true.

Previously, I felt the same too beyond 70km/h, culprit was the dried air filter which caused excess of air. I re cleaned the filter following the recommended steps and set the mixture, problem got solved for me.

I also suspect a clogged air filter or disturbed mixture settings to be the culprit. I'll clean the air filter and see if it works for me. I won't disturb the mixture settings as I had it adjusted only a few weeks back by Suzuki guys.

A.O.A its bit late but congrats i have question about your ride. i am planing to buy GD-110 its a 2nd hand bike 2014 model. luckily bike is very clean and used with care the person who is selling bike is a car owner and drives bike rarely.. please suggest me it would be better to buy this bike. previously i had a CG-125 2011 model but i sold that bike coz of its vibs.
Kindly tell me something about its fuel average reply early please...

GD is absolutely free of any vibrations and noises. So I think you would be happy with its ride.

A lot has been said about GD's fuel average on different threads here. The verdict is: GD fails big time when it comes to fuel average. Only today I calculated my GD's fuel average and it returned a value of 34 km/h!!!

Otherwise the ride is very smooth and pleasant. Now it's up to you whether you want to compromise on poor fuel average for a joyful ride.

TZB brother , sub gd's ki average buri nhi hai,last month lahore se wapsi per main ne reserv lagne per pora aik liter patrol dilwaya aur dobara reserv lagne per jab calculation ki to mujhe 42 ki average mili , mery sath mera dost b tha jis ka waight 95kg+ hai aur sirf kuch jagah per speed kum ki ho gi warna speciely sirf speed cheak karney k leay main ne gd ki speed 80 se kum nhi hony di ,

i heard the same from a Suzuki shoroom guy.he suggested me to buy a GS150 and said that the fuel average of GS is better then GD..but i dnt like the design of GS-150 as its too big for me..not a big fellow..but i decided to go with GD..i am buying in very reasonable price.

hello...its strange u likes GD-110 and fall in love with YBR..yeh tu wohi bat ho gae aik trf ghar wali aik trf bahir wali..dear agr apne new bike lena hy tu i suggest k GD na lo q k bht mhnga hy or fuel economy ka b issue hy kafi logo ko..mje 2nd hand bike mil rha hy kafi reasonable price mai isi leay mai purchse kr rha ho agr new lena ho tu kbi b na lo gd-110..yeh bike fit hy pr design seat ka or shape se bht innocent sa lgta hy kuch aggression wali honi chaye bike..agr wait kr skty hu tu wait for YBR base model and YBRG-125..

Bhai bht differnce ha suzuki ki drive ka aur cg ki drive ka suzuki fitt aur quality ha . No vibration smooth ride aur petrol ki avr bi fitt ha
