every thing is stock, only rear wheel tube changed 2 times. Alhamdulillah running smooth and no issue of any kind. never used kick for starting.

Handle assembly of my GD had misaligned due to a side-wise collision with a rickshaw. It was a minor collision, but it left the handle assembly bent leftward. So I went to a denter last Saturday and got it fixed. I would say the alignment is more than 90% restored, and I am happy with even this given that our mechanics do the alignment with naked eye and experience only without using any proper tools and gauges to actually measure the alignment.

Handle bents easily event when some time bikes fall from side stand
but its the handle whose alignment goes wrong in your case the assembly
lost the alignment well anyway its good to know denter has restored it fine

Today I got my GD's "chain lock" changed. It was changed upon recommendation of Suzuki mechanic due to "tuc tuc" sound the chain was making as if it was loose and was brushing the chain cover. The guy recommended me to go to a Honda dealership and buy Deluxe's chain lock as it would fit the GD.

I did the same. But unfortunately, "genuine" lock wasn't available even in McLeod Road market. So I had to settle for a Taiwanese one which I bought from Makhdoom Autos.

The "tuc tuc" sound is now gone. Thank God. By the way it was changed after 22,260 km.

The reason of the annoying sound, I believe, is the crack (pointed by the arrow) visible in the pix of the old lock below:

If I'm guessing right then It's not a crack.....it's cut given to make installation easy.

The below image shows that you are right. I wonder, then, what was that sound all about and how is it gone just by changing the chain lock. Any ideas?

May be the lock is smaller then the chain because of which this lock is not sitting correctly in the spokes of sprocket....

Lol. But that's not possible because that was the original lock which was changed (came with the bike).

Yeb I know that's why I'm saying

I think play has become in lock because of which it makes noise and the mechanic changed that lock because this problem comes in every stock lock after some use

This is only the case if lock is the main problem

Service centers at Suzuki showrooms. If you are confident in an outside mechanic, you can go to him as well.
