You are right..it's too much, but I couldn't resist due to it's location. Believe me that there was no room available except this one. People have lot of money i guess.I want to ask you a question because look very up dated and well aware of travelling stuff that which GPS device will be appropriate for Pakistan?

sir ji i have not used a lot of GPS in pakistan but the simplest ones (garmin) are adequate. my nay tu wo bhe bht sussefully use kia hai jo kisi bhe achay mobile may hota hai.

it also helped me securing the location and height data during my many treks.....

if u have a mobiloe with GPS its enuf for u

On our recent expedition, one of my friends used Thuraya Cell Phone with free GPS services (having exactly accurate stats about altitude etc). Off-net and On-net charges were quite nominal as well. a Txt message did cost 50 cents.

Thanks for your suggestion. Actually Thuraya is very expensive and normally used by Big companies. I will consider any smart phone aur Garmin.
