If 1.5 Axio 2013 non hybrid cost 9 lacs japanese yen at auction then how much it will cost after clearing in karachi ?

duty right now is near: pkr 1,522,500
due to higher $ rate @ 104.7

all other clearance charges: Pkr 90,000 (passport, wharfage, do charges & local transport etc.)

car price: Yen 900,000 (average auction price)
freight: Yen 110,000 (no extra charges for inland transport, for far off auction houses or bank charges)

cnf: Yen 1,010,000
pkr 942,430 (@.9430 money isnt wired at official bank rates you see in newspapers or online)

total cost: pkr 2,554,930 + mycar service charges

What isthe duty on nissan leaf? Is our government clearing electric vehicles for import. Saw one leaf on pakwheels guy is demanding 25lac which is 3 times the auction cost

Nissan Leaf has a very weird duty structure its not hybrid so it does not get any rebate

thus the duty is quite high some people assume it does not have an engine so it must be duty free

that is far from ground reality

conclusion its not feasible at all to import pure EVs into Pakistan

btw i do not think looking at the current auction prices it is possible to get Mira 2013 in 9 lacs

Yes costing 1100-1125 in X package these days... Add some martin to get price idea in local market...
