^^ You are right on your point, the solution to anything is not to remove it - The bigger problem is that our laws are so ignorant and then never followed (it can be bought for some paper money) - that it leads to such situations.
e.g. a shopowner is required to take a copy of your CNIC to sell you a sim, what confirmation do you have that the same copy will not be used to issue more sim cards... Yes I know you can cancel them later on but how come it happened in the first place.
In reality - trying to fight a collosal problem like terrorism by stopping sale of prepaid sims is like trying to put out a burning building by blowing on it. IMO such news pieces are excellent material to kindle a fire or swat a fly.
Coming to the point of the mms scandal thing - its not new and not rare, it happens all the time, No-one said the world is a land of ponies and rainbows with unlimited supply of papri chaat. There are predators everywhere and their prey are such girls. I agree that the sex predators should be prosecuted but the other party (girl) should also think with a level head on what she's getting into. Its not that they dont know at all about what can happen.
