born in 72 I also remember the Double Decker ... I was a child then and to watch films my family used to go Sanam Cinema(Muzung Chungi) in this bus .. My bad I wrote late 60s instead of late 70s
Sanam cinema was my favourite too after Alfalah. Watched so many movies there and my first was The Burglars. We lived in Lahore from 1969-1982 in Samanabad (Amir Test Service and Radiant Way school wali street). The last stop was nearby at Main Market and these double deckers were parked there after the round about which used to have famous MF cone ice cream. Lovely childhood and adolescent memories. I studied at Junior Model School, Central Model High School and then Superior Science College Wahdat Road.
