Of course. So is it really worth it spending so much extra resources on those "green" technologies? Or should man use those extra resources and use this rapidly changing (if it is) climate to adapt to a world where climate has changed even without man?

It is up to each country to decide its future energy policies. Who knows what dividends research into Green Technologies will bring, just like the space program did previously.
