Again public holidays r coming. There will b rush

talked to a tour operator now, they told me that situation was very bad during vacation but since the vacation are over there is no rush anymore and the roads are easily accessible?

Tour operators will always say the same. Even during eid holidays they will say on the phone "little rush".

OMG Many members faced lot of difficulties visiting naran kaghan in June July specially with families and also no recommendations for August
i was planning to visit naran kaghan in june 2015 before ramzan or after eid
but after reading comments of people whom traveled with families and faced abnormal difficulties i must drop my plan for these months

any suggestions ? regarding visit in august after independence day

After 20th august better than now and after 30th august Best..Just check weather forecast.. Travelling there in heavy rains not advisable

Not sure, how the gov will manage the KKH traffic through Narran and Kaghan. News are routing that KKH will be closed due to bhasha dam.

Not in recent dates because narran and kaghan road still under construction. So, might be after the completion of kaghan road.

These Hotel owners are overcharging due to Eid holidays... our public must learn to avoid these tourists spots like Naran, Murree at Eid. Otherwise get ripped of their money.

I visited shogran, kaghan/naran in the month of Ramzan, mid-July 2014. , the maximum rent of 3,500 I paid was for hut at PTDC Naran. I stayed at Luxury room of Pine Park Shogran for 3000. The jeep fare for Siri/Paye from shogran was 1500 and the same amount for visiting saifulmulook from PTDC Naran.

Getting fuel is also an issue these days. As many people r stucked in gilgit n hunza due to shortage of fuel.
Another problem till 14th Aug is the political situation of pak. Roads are blocked especially highway.

My original plan was to visit Naran/Kaghan from 10th Aug but i had cancelled my trip to Pakistan due to the current political situation

Please do not go to Naran till 20-08-2014. It will be too crowdy and rates of hotels also at the highest peaks like 15,000 per night!
