been at these places but almost a decade ago.... life didn't give chance to visit them again...... but soon will move towards the lap of mother nature again. thanks to you for making my mind to do that.....

Nicely captured! From the pictures it looks like the bridge on Lulusar is missing. Do you have any idea when would the babusar chillas road be open? When exactly did you visit Lulusar? Thanks.

The bridge is very much intact. It is just that the angle of pics captures the flow of water. The road to Babusar was blocked just after one km from the bridge due to glaciers. No idea when they will open the road. I heard that this year there was exceptional snowfall.

brother please advice me
1. Is road condition allow to go to Lalusar lake with family and kids
2. Jhalkad ?? what i assume this part in between lalazar and lalusar ?
3. Jhalkad shows lot of snow it mean kids need full winter dressing?

Depends on the age of the kids if they are 10+ they will be all right as the road is pretty dangerous after Besal.

Yes Jhalkad is after Lalazar. For Lalazar you have to go up on a dirt track and if it is raining it is not advisable to go there as the track gets very slippery. It is about eight kms from the raod.

Weather is very unpredictable up there take warm clothes caps and gloves and also some thing to protect from rain. It was freezing cold when I was at Lake Lalusar in mid June.

Bro road conditions were good, there are still some glaciers before Naran. The situation changes very rapidly there due to rains/landslides. Best thing to do is call and ask the hotel. You can get hotel numbers in the hotels review thread. Another good source is Jeep drivers at Balakot or the Jeep Drivers Union Office which is on the right side of the road as soon as you cross the Kunhar Bridge on your way towards Paras.
