Thank you so much for appreciation and sweet and kind words for me.We have such a strong relation on this forum...we almost meet daily here which we don't even with our very close relatives.
Its really Amazing for me to know that how much you follow my efforts...I just forgot about some threads like 82'corolla...
I feel very honored...
You reminded me about 82 corolla..I can recall that I overhauled its engine at home and made a thread as well about the details of overhauling which I could not complete..I will look for the remaining pics and complete that thread too...
Your Corolla which you used in your trip is very nice machine...One of the best /strong models of corolla...
I also Have one like that which I bought in 1999,Its a GL and have done only 14000 kms since then.
Our country badly needs our Prayers and efforts...

Oh So do I brother....I really want to drive and enjoy these cars after applying so much efforts on them but what to do...I am the only person who has to take care of SO MANY things....
we kept on working on blue one..made all internal cards and fitted them in place..wiring is also partially done....
Red one back from the paint shop and in the back garage....have a lot of interesting pics of both the cars to share with you brothers....
but dedication is very much there...
One bedroom and two stores of my house is full with parts of these cars....
some parts are lying on the bed and no one allowed to enter or even clean the premises....
Just to prove,took few pics from my mobile right now to show you the intensity of love with these pieces of metal:) and pathetic condition of one of our bed rooms...

Now something very interesting/strange happened..
I had a tankful before leaving Lahore and I was confident that mini can easily reach Islamabad in that fuel.But after Kallar Kahar I noticed that fuel gauge dropped steeply and abruptly and reserve light came into action.I noticed so right after leaving the exit of Kallar Kahar and I was not sure that it can reach the next fuel point in the remaining fuel.....very strange.
any how called motorway help line and got some fuel to reach the next fuel point ,I.e Chakri I think....

Just for my info, How much extra they charge for their services. Many members ask me about it.

Thanks dear...It was really a memorable trip enjoyed every moment of it...Scenic beauty of this area is breath taking.A lot of reconstruction work was going on and very heavy machinery was there but earthquake damaged quite a large area requiring good amount of time and efforts to rebuild...I think,road should be in a better shape by now...

I am obliged that you visited this thread and posted here...I am so happy that you like my efforts because I feel myself "TIFL-E-MAKTAB" (A SMALL CHILD OF SCHOOL) in front of you.I received a lot of inspiration from you.Your stamina of driving and level of enthusiasm are really admirable.I look up at you.
Hanif Bhai,that room is still in the same condition and I am committed that all these parts will not be shifted anywhere else except spitfire.
The charges of fuel on motor way by their mobiles are around 100 rupees per liter.I remember that we gave 400 for this 4 liter can.

Thanks brother....I am trying to make you feel as if you are traveling with me and you feel so,It means I am a little successful in my efforts...This area is very beautiful and whoever comes here can not forget it for years and years and urge of coming again remains there...

Electricity system was also destroyed in earthquake as you can see the electric poles without wires...So there was no electricity in Naran till last year and every thing was running on generators except one hotel 'Lenox" I think who had their own turbine...

A nice view of local houses..I always wonder how they reach there because apparently no roads seem to be going there but obviously there are..:).
