from time point of view , u r luck that u r able to manage almost 5 to 7 days in a trip whereas it is difficult fo us to manage 3 days in a row as we are on private jobs !

We I am also planning to visit Kaghan valley this year, The only problem is my BOSS!! leave off course.
About Mr.Fire although he is 40+ , but more energetic than anyone. What about when he be 20!!!

sir what about fishing can we do fishing there? if we have our own fishing rods? & lake looked to me quite low regarding water level? is it?

U can obtain a permit/license from the fisheries office located in the start of trek towards the lake. Rs 100/day. As for the fish, there are a few but difficult to catch due to all the noise in and around the lake.A gud time would be late in the evening or early morning when there aren't any tourists around Last yr a group caught some on spinners, while trolling in the lake,late evening.

Very nice pics...lake looking very nice covered in snow...I would really love to go and see the lake in this frozen form But its beyond my Capacity..:(...I think I am too old for this kind of adventures...
Your BOSS....hmmm..Actually some people feel very young at heart even at old/middle age and they are very energrtic...Some young people feel sluggish and out of life...
So I feel that the way you think makes a lot of difference (to some extent)...
I wish that you go to these area and see everything with your own eyes because camera can't do the justice...

I feel very honored to have your posts in response to my efforts...So Its my pleasure to answer..
You are right brother that time is really an issue....Actually BY THE GRACE OF GOD we belong to the community who don't have to face these kind of problems like leaves etc from any one..
Basically we are from agricultural back ground and don't have to be active the whole year...so having these type of trips for any time period is no problem...The only thing to consider is Kids vacations...
You are true that taking time out is very difficult when you are doing some job specially private ones...
BUT when there is a will,there is a way...

You are absolutely right that going to these places need some commitment and efforts specially in my age and stage and with families.
A good amount of risk is also involved because you can get stuck due to some unexpected circumstances like Land slide etc.. Driving is also a little bit more tricky and there is no room for error...
Its definitely a little bit more difficult to reach these places as compared to Murree and Nathia gali etc...
For instance take the route to Lake Saif ul Malook which is a tough terrain.My wife was scared to death on this trip and promised to herself that she won't come to this place again.however after going to Lulusir in our own jeep increased the confidence levels....
I wish that you go and visit this area yourself because cameras Can't do any justice to the scenic beauty of these places.

brother,until we rectify ourselves,no guards can do anything...You are right about the "fishing" things...Its fun to catch fish,cook and eat on the spot:).Never tried but will do in the future INSHALLAH.
