First of all fuel....a tank full..taking no chances on mountains...
And heading towards our next destination..."Mansehra"
A beautiful Mosque MASHALLAH on the way to Mansehra...
Mountain area started...interesting pic on the back of the truck...very typical sight...
And reached Mansehra....
These Suzuki Pickups do amazing jobs in these remote areas...you can see in the following pic...
Hazara University on the way....
Now a MISTAKE here...From Mansehra there are two ways...one goes to Balakot,Kaghan,Naran and other towards Gilgit,Chillas and Khunjrab..
I took the wrong way and instead of going towards Bala kot, headed towards Batagram, and Gilgit ON KKH.....
Guda Gudakeep em coming
Reached Shinkiari...you can see the distances between different places........But NO SIGN of our destination I,e Balakot..
@danialahmad....Thanks dear...on my way.
DUMB ME....even after having a look at the board, did not notice that I am on the wrong way:$...kept going and going and almost reached "Batgram".It was only 13 kms..when I woke up..:D..(Please Do not laugh at me...these are signs of old age).
I lost/forgot my way but did not forget to take pics...where ever I was....13 Kms from Batgram.
And coming back towards Mansehra to pick the right way..
A nice view on the way to Mansehra....
And at the right place.......enjoyed this event too..but some Valuable time wasted.....
Now towards Balakot....
great thread @spitfire, Pajero mini 660cc 20v dohc intercooler turbo is a very very powerfull vehicle(weight/power ratio) so what I think about your feel of lack of power at Shogran etc. must have to do something with something wrong with your vehicle. I wish I can learn to post details of the trips like you do. Keep it rolling please. Bravo!
@jeepaholic...Its really an honour for me to have your post in this thread..You are right brother that mini has good power to weight ratio..I think we over loaded the poor machine disturbing all its ratios...On shogran climb, heat needle was trying to go up,but then I shifted to low range and no problems again but very cautiously.I am obliged for your appreciation brother...Regards.
