Again came across this broken portion of the road in earthquake....part of the mountain in no more there where the road was made....
So this typical metal bridge is there to connect both ends of the road....
Towards Balakot......
Another previous land slide ...and road cleared...I can't recall,why we stopped here.......for quite some time...
Again at the same spot....bike is replaced by Santro.:)...pic taken from driving seat of mini....but really cant recall why we stopped here for some time...road is clear ahead...Aging signs....Any how...nice view of the road at right side....
Ok...moved ahead....waiting for this pick up to pass...no intentions to "go through" this pool of water...

Came closer and "blue roofs" of the houses in balakot became more prominent....
River Kunhar also in the view....If you remember....this area received maximum damage in earthquake and there was not a single roof intact...ALLAH HAMARAY GUNAHOON KO MAAF FARMAYE..AMEEN..
These blue roof houses were donated by some country....can't recall which country...
A closer look....Pre-fabricated fiberglass structure...very strong ....

Do you remember this road....between Mansehra and balakot????when we come from Mansehra...first view of River Kunhar is on this road...
Some nice pines on the way......but nothing in front of the previous ones...Any how...we are leaving hilly area......slowly......A/C of the mini turned on...
Typical "Round and Round" turns between Mansehra and Balakot....some time they induce nausea and vomiting in some people....
Towards left....sharp 360 degree.....This area of the journey keeps you busy in turning your steering wheel left/right continuesly....
