i hav heared that for clearing NCP vehicles laboratory test of chesis(acid is used in this test) is compulsory is it true?
True because you dont want to get in trouble if car is tempered. Its to find out if car is stolen.

^^I hav never seen or experienced but heard frm all around, they pour acid on chesis numbr area to see its tempered or not, normally n market such vehicles (Laboratory pass vehicles) hav less market value.
i guess with acid , welding marks etc will be easily visible i presume !
seen a lot of old mehrans with metal exposed from chasis no area might be this acid test
If it is cleared from lab then still y it got less value?
the rumor is dat it might be tempered but wuz cleared in lab on rishwat after acid test so in near future this car will again be causing prob to the new owner

yes they "labortry" the car .... but it can be avoided by giving 15k as chai paani
i wonder why no one is buying sports cars like supras and skyline gtr's and evo's ....i guess its a nice chance to buy such cars which cant be imported being older than three years...... are they not available in tribal areas ???experts like @doc.tarzan plz comment!!
No sir ... i havent found any .... heard someone bought an RX7 in peshawar from waish !!! .... their used to be a MKIII supra in torkham but it was sold an year ago, no one seems to know its where abouts :( .... a few people have told me that if they are provided with a chasis and engine number they will register a car and one can import it from dubai or japan later through afghanistan .... but i do not have such kind of spare cash to risk ....

Went to my village and vitz which was prev for 2.5 lacs there is now for 4 to 4.5 lacs. Many people from punjab are going to tribal area and buying these ncp cars.My cousin has earned about about 1.5 lacs profit by selling his vitz to a non local guy.
