Other than fuel consumption, is auto transmission car need more maintanence as compare to manual? I never drove any automatic car so i dont have any info about automatics...

well you just have to replace the ATF (the correct one) at 40k km's and replace its filter
other then that there is no special maintenance for an automatic transmission
just make sure the transmission is in good working state try it in every position (D,2,L and R)
it should shift smoothly without jerks and there shouldnt be any noise in any gear

think of it like this
D=All 4 gear (it shift between all 4 gears)
2=first 2 gears (shifts between 1 and 2 gears)
L=first (stays in 1st gear) L means lower gear
and then there is a smaller button on the shifter which is O/D (over drive)
when the button is pressed it it shifts upto 4 (the final gear) is its not pressed (a light will light up in the cluster as O/D off) it wont shift into 4 (will shift upto 3)

thats a foot rest (also called dead pedal)
it does nothing and is only there for you to rest your left foot

Go for Indus Corolla, U will find it easily, if u want to change that car, It will be matter of some hours. City or Civic is good option but it will take time to resell them
