ohh...its a relief to hear that.. 7-8 hours from skardu to chilas sounds great..i've already dropped the by-air part..it doesn't seem possible cos of the weather as well as rush... thanks autoslave...
btw i'm leaving from karachi at 4pm...see you guys in 2 weeks..thanks for all the info..i'll update once i come back..
Please remember that its (almost) non-stop drive-time. For instance, don't leave Chilas at 2 pm in the afternoon hoping that you would be in Skardu by 9-10 pm.

yup...Mr aarish...is right. The key for road trips upnorth is, one should leave early morning regardless of any destination.
