Aisa karta hoon k kal ya parson inshallah, sirf Tappet Adjustment doobara karwa k dekhta hoon. Dekhte hain k iss se farq parta hay ya nahin.

But i told you, and i can bet on that, k meri bike ki aawaaz Tunning honay se pehle, Bikul Fit thi, wohi Chankaar wali aawaaz. But junhi tunning huwi, Aawaaz ki matt wajj gayi. Ab wo ghatiya Sukki ki aawaaz aati hay :@
Aur upar say sonay pay sohaga, meri bike Petrol Average bhi achi nahin de rahi, 33-35KM/h inside lahore on speeds less than 70.
Something is really wrong with my bike.
I think i should get it checked by some REAL Expert ..

I'm driving automobiles for 12 years, in this perios I've had driven every single brand of bike including Chinese made.I've my own Showroom for brand new bikes and Second hand Exchange....Mera experience yahi hai ke mechanic bike ka stroke kharab karte hain, or tuning ke baad bike bilkul baith jaati hai.Shayed log meri baat se agree na hon but mera personal experience har bar yahi raha hai ke jab tak bike ko genuine setting pe chalaya sab kuch acha raha, even once i drive my brand new Honda 2007 till 5500 KM at the odometer but bike stroke was like new....average was good almost 45Km/L.......but jab tuning karwao bike farig.....i've a similar thread regarding the same issue with my brand new Yamaha Junoon and now with New Yama4..........well iska behtreen soulution yahi hai ke naya silencer lagao or kisi expert mechanic se iski mixture setting karwao, average b theek ho jayegi or silencer new lagne se stroke b kafi improve ho jayega, best of luck

A noob question..... yeh tappet adjuster kahan hota hai aur yeh kiya kam karti hai..?

Okay aaj subha main ne Tappet 1 baar phir Adjust karwaye hain ... bike k sound main to itna koi farq nahin para, but 1 baat ab Solid Clear hay k Bike k Mixture main masla hay aur mujeh carburetor khulwana paray ga.

Aaj subha Tunning karwane k baad main Gulbeg main phirta raha tha ... taqreeban bike 40 - 50 KiloMeter chali hay saara din. But i noticed clearly k bike ka Stroke Bikul bhi power ful nahi hay ... haan albatta aawaaz ka bhi notice kiya hay k thori Decrease (Suthri / Clear) ho gayi hay, but wo Chanak Daar sound nahin nikla. Aur mujeh yaqeen ho gya hay k Silencer New he lena paray ga.

Ab kal ya aaj raat ko inshallah Carburetor ki mixture setting karwa k dekhta hoon phir baat karon ga aap sab se.

how much new silencer cost me... new genuine Atls honda..

new genuine is of RS.1700 here but some other copy1 is for RS.1100....but both are overall same.. i have a 2006 honda which still sounds like new. get ur tappet little loose and use engine oil according to season (summer or winter) and secondly on air filter of 125 there are 2 foams covers remove the upper 1 and insert the filter trust me u will see a change in pickup.. and if u want some more pick up then change ur plug to GFORCE by NGK (bareek tip wala) ...

Strange thing happened today.

I went to McLeod Road with my Neighbor, who has some friends (Mechanics) in McLeod Road near Lahore Hotel.
About THREE people have Test Driven the bike, and you wont believe me what they said. Every One of them REFUSED to open up the bike's HEAD (Tappet) OR Carburetter. They were saying k Sir hamain paisay dukhtay nahin hain. Hum aap say paisay le ke engine khol k thora bohat kaam kar to dain gey aap ko dikhane k liye But aap ki bike k saath koi bhi problem nahin hay. Jis kisi nahin bhi iss ki adjustment ki hay, bohat achi ki hay. Aur hamari maenin to issay aisa he chalatay jaen.

Now they've tested the bike in such a way that i think i can't even think of driving a Honda 125 like that. They took the bike upto 70KM in 3rd Freakin' Gear :S , and whenever "I" drive the bike, i can't take it more than 40 or 50 on 3rd Gear, however, i can take the bike upto 100 on 4th gear. That clearly stated that bike ka engine Bilkul Fit hay.

Jahan tak bike kay sound ka problem hay, they said k Sir Aap Atlas Honda k Geniune Silencer le lain , costing Rs.1800 in the market at the moment. Iss say bike ki aawaz kaafi solid ho jaye gi. And unfortunately, i had to agree with 'em.

About Petrol Average, they said k Sir hum Petrol kam to kar dain ***, but iss say Engine Heat Up Ziayda ho ga, aur Bike ki Pick main bhi farq parr jaye ga, iss liye aap issay aisay he chalatay jain.
And this thought is still messing up with my head, because ALTAS HONDA k 1 banday ne jab keh diya hay k Honda CG125 ki MINIMUM average 40-42 PLUS honi chahiye to ye Mechanics Log kiyon keh rahay hain k meri Bike jo 33-35KM/liter kar rahi hay, theek hay :S

@Ejazmarri! i AM SORRY that i stole your thread because it was actually You asking questions about YOUR bike, but sincerely, my intentions were to share my experience because You and I both were in the same dilemma.

aah well i think that i HAVE to buy a new Silencer Anyway.
Waisay bhi pehele wala silencer (jo abhi laga huwa hay), iss k saath main 1 tajarba karne ka soch raha hoon. which, i will share with you guyz later, because its not the right time to share that thought

bhai mera then ur expectations about 125 were the same as the cmny stated in their booklets or ads ... whic are in reality performed in extremely restricted and ideal conditions... and in reality there is always -30 % decrease in efficiency when the same tests are carried in real world ..

CG125 changes its sound when it gets older, nothing to be worried about, if heavy sound is really a big issue for you then change the replace the silencer with a new original one however during winter season the sound of CG125 becomes crisp and during summer its heavy and its a fact.

Now u r on the right point. Go n find some good mechanic. He will tune up ur machine again. like setting the corroborate again , tappets n valve clearance etc. Also try to use ZIC 4T engine oil. U will feel the difference.
