Need help for khunjerab pass trip

Btw this is the petrol refilling status on the route...topped up from lahore and the last 24 litre is at lahore again topped it up after reaching back...i have mentioned how many litres were filled after doing how many kms

Topped up at shami road lahore
First refill is at approx balakot
Secondis jaglot
Third is also jaglot after coming back
And forth is at chakri rest area
And last is again lahore girja chowk

but seems like ap just border hath lagane gae thay, there is alot of awesome places on the way to border, you didn't mention about,
all you need is just to leave your car a lil bit and hike on track and tadaaa haven is here...

Not exactly hath lagaya...it was a fast trip as i had to reach back lahore because i will be leaving for skardu again tonight....rest stopped at almost every spot on the way

Can anyone tell about the road condition from jaglot to skardu?heard its in bad shape...if it is can anyone tell for how many kms it is bad?and is it driveable for civic 2009? I dont wanna go on a hi roof or anything ...i can bear the uneven patches and patholes and can go slow so is it possible according to that?

The road is under construction, Friday is the best day to travel as there is no construction activity on Fridays.

There are two routes for skardu right?i might be wrong i dont know because before entering jaglot there was a road turning to skardu and after crossing jaglot i again saw a sign on road mentioning skardu

one is via astore>deosai>skardu and the other is direct from kkh to skardu, themain skardu route is after jaglot which is under construction these days.

What is the condition of astore route?and is it advisable to travel via that route?

And whats the travel time for hoth routes?also the road condition?and what kind of construcion is happening?any pictures for refrence?
I really dont want to use a public transport as i have not seen a single public transport being driven the right way in that area

car should not overheat no matter how hard you push it, better get it checked, if it reduced water then there must be a minor head gasket leak or in one of the hoses, was there any pressure in radiator when you opened it or the resevoir bottle???

I recommend you to get disk pads replaced again, as the one you got in 300 must be of very low quality and will destroy your discs.

Dont know what issue it was...water level was perfect infact i again used the same route today of babisar from chillas(dont recommend anyone to go in these days got stuck there for several hours due to traffic jam from babusar till lulusar lake and then took 3 hours to enter naran and exit) and no overheating happened today

About disc pads i replaces discs and rotors as soon as i reached lahore before leaving again for skardu
