I think restoring these type of rare cars is not possible unless can fetch parts from abroad...
I have an 84 which was in fairly good condition when I bought it 10 years ago but bought a lot of parts from uk(for detailing) and finding parts was not easy even there....
So,think twice,thrice before going for it..

RX7 is a very common car and parts can be found in most of the junkyards out here. Better be ready to pay handsome amount for shipping cost alone. Its not impossible but expensive. ebay.com

Ive also seen such a car - on papers it was a mazda 1994 - the car was an FB RX7 - with half assed jobs all around.

Please post few pictures of his FD3s , so me and other pakwheels members will be in a better position to guide you.

Its not a big deal to restore a FD3s back to its original condition , its all about how much you are willing to spend over her ,

Restoring and FD is expensive.
