You need to get another clock. Some clocks are having only instantaneous average option. You need to get one which comes with instantaneous mileage plus average.

Are you using this clock in pkdm swift? Did you only plug the clock or any thing else done ?

Yes in PKDM Swift. Nothing done extra just plugged JDM clock after removing stock clock.

Still not showing average and electrician is making excuses to exchange, I am still trying to get it exchanged but just to confirm if you could take a snap of back side of clock where description is given and compare it with yours or mine. Seems some version difference to me because there are many international models using this type of clock.

I have tried two different clocks one is made in china and other made in Japan, both are not displaying average. Only Instantaneous. Not sure but may be it has some relation with the temperature sensor as I have not installed the temperature sensor yet.

I don't think so its due to temperature sensor because other guy here installed this clock with out temperature sensor and working fine for him. Which model do you have 2010?

Mine is 2012 model.
It is showing instantaneous fuel average but not calculating it on trip bases.

Can you share picture of your clock?
We can compare it with the one which is showing the trip average. May be the clock is not compatible.

Temprature sensor has nothing to do with it. This clock's problem for sure.

If we find one which is showing average then we can compare.
I guess some connector wire will have to be aligned as per marking on the socket.

Connector fits on its place so I don't think its issue, clock must be culprit itself

Bro I have got a solution for you. I was facing same issue and done some research on it. The average is shown on clock display when you install the ambient temperature sensor. I have installed it and it is now fuel showing avg as well along along with the instantaneous. Got the temperature sensor for 500/- PKR and installed it myself.
