Brother you can use Lower gears on slopes but as another member said he has issues in Islamabad so i think you can buy a good 4 or 4.5 Grade Vitz 1.0 L & swap in a 1.3 L Engine & have a win - win situation at the cost of around 60K

You can do the same with a Passo

since both cars use the same engines

My trusted mechanic also suggested me this solution but i got a qoute of around 100k. If you want to swap engine, you should change the gear box and computer with it as well. Only changing an engine won't be a good option.

Otherwise it would remain the same

I have 10 lacs budget
Should i buy vitz 2nd generation may be 2008 or 2009 model or suzuki swift 2012 model?
If i bought vitz, will it working fine for next 4 to 5 years? Or i have to overhaul engine

Get swift. Better road grip, strong engine, local cheap parts and a younger model.. Vitz is underpower.. Or if you can get a 1.3 cc vitz, forget swift! Equation is simple

@m_umairr...not sure about 1.0L but 1.3L has superb torque and I personally experienced it in Ustore valley for 4 person on board and according to my friend who owns 2.OD, vitz was climbing better on margalla hills, i even dead stop it on the most 2-3 different upstream turnings and it went from there like a charm with Aircon ON...i shared my 1st ever experience with vitz in an other thread "Plz sort out my vitz problems***...do check it out

Just thinking about local automatic swift. The reason is low spare parts cost.
Can anyone tell about the spare parts cost difference between local swift and vitz?
