One of most peaceful place to see in neelum valley is neelum village, just above keren. On left side it's Indian occupied kashmir. Last year Indian army open fire on a public pessenger coster and killed many innocent people, near auth-maqam and sabotage the piece of this area.

@lastsoul can you please guide that you said ratigali track is half covered with jeep and later half by foot does it remain same all the time or it was specific some issue that your jeep can't reach the lake?
Secondly can you guide me about local delicious food and taste over there and what is condition of trout fisihing right now is it allowed?

Can some one who visited till Kel or Taobat within last 7-10 days tell us about road condition till Kel and any Land Sliding occurred these days ?

I am planing to go on my Vitz with my family (We are total 3 persons including 5 years old child). Is it possible to take Vitz till Kel, otherwise is it safe to park car at Sharda or Keran for 2 days ?

Is Chairlift from Kel - Arang Kel still operational (if yes - what are their timings)?

Excellent post. I have visited neelam valley upto taobat 4 years before but not able to spend more time in Taobat. Next year my plan is to go Minimurg via kamri pass In Shaa Allah
