Yup i agree its very tough hiking

Now after getting experience you can imagine how difficult it was as i did it with holding my baby on my arms & Shoulder Bag on back & holding mises hand, but we did it in 1 hour & 20 Minutes for upward direction

I am also planning to visit the neelum valley in coming days. after reading threads i have made a rough itinerary of 3-4 days. can you please guide me about travelling arrangements, hotel booking procedure and rough cost details (as you mention there are no ATM after MZD):

Day 1- planning to reach Keran from murree.
how much time it would take and what's the best mode of travel as i am travelling with my Mrs and 2 kids (6 yrs, 2 yrs)?

Day 2- visit and stay at Sharda or kel.
what is the best place to visit and stay at Sharda or Kel with family?

Day 3- visit to shaunter or taobat
what are the rough charges of transport and how to get that? also what is the temperature these days and condition of roads?

Day 4- didn't decide yet what to do on this day, need your suggestions

My Best advise to delay the visit till Eid-Ul-Azha as this is the rainy season & AZD kashmir is facing worst floods & rainy days these days. I am strongly not advising to visit these days with family.

Coaster is the best option with seat number 5,6 & Folding (In Front of Door), I dont have idea from Murree but from Faiz Abad ISB there are two services available. AFter MZB you can go on Vans, Coaster or Rocket Bus. Night Stay at Keran.

Day 2- visit and stay at Sharda or kel. (I recommend Taobut Night Stay)
what is the best place to visit and stay at Sharda or Kel with family?
No need to stay at Sharda or Kel if your day 1 night stay is at Keran,Visit Sharda just after breakfast, Reach KEL at Lunch, Hire Jeep & go to Taobutt, Visit & Night stay at Tao butt. Only Jeep can go there so either you need another family to share with you or you have to pay Rs. 5000-6000 alone for complete return trip. (Total setas 6-7)

Day 3- visit to shaunter or taobat ( Return Journey)

If you want to visit shounter than you need to stay night at Sharda & day visit to shounter but with kids Shounter & Arrangkel will be a difficult task.
Visit again Taobutt after breakfast, enjoy scenery & start return journey, Lunch at KEL, Night stay at Sharda/Keran.

Day 4- didn't decide yet what to do on this day, need your suggestions (MZB Stay)
Drive back to MZB & Visit Pir Chinasi at MZB, Night stay at MZB.
