Please give a percise plan for 5 days; like where to stay, where to visit. (feel easy to just mention the names as it will help me to plan the whole tour), coz you have been there and know well where one should stay and how much can be seen in a day or so...

Please advice the hotels to stay with respect to area; and if advance booking is required?

Is there any danger regarding the LOC area? as we will be right near to that area...

Note: In case of Clouds or Rain the Hot Day/Moderate Day can convert into cold day & cold Night will convert into Coldest Night.

Option 1: You start from Muzzafarabad after breakfast than follow my plan, detail at first page.

Option 2; You start from Muzzafarabad in noon than follow this plan.
Day 1; MZB---Kundal Shahi---Visit Kran---Upper Neelum (Night Stay)
Day 2; Upper Neelum---Visit Sharda--- KEL---Arrang Kel---KEL (Night Stay)
Day 3; KEL--- Tao Butt---KEL
Day 4:; KEL---REturn Journey---Kundal Shahi---Kutton (Night Stay)
Please advice the hotels to stay with respect to area; and if advance booking is required?
Hotels Depends on your budget & Conditions (Family Trip/Friends/CLass etc), No need of Advance booking but options available for advance booking for some hotels like valley trackers & Jagran Resorts.

I contacted ajk tours and they are asking 3500 a day rent for hotel room at each place. I am wondering should i go with family after a weak on eid, starting from 4th august?

dONT wORRY @qaswer.sheikh & Other Families due to rate issue

Here I suggest you the better family hotel residences.

You can stay at cheapest rates at Keran @ 2000/night in Neelum Greenland Hotel, KEL @ 1800-2000/night at Sardar Sarhad Hotel, TAO Butt (Dont remeber the hotel name but it is built recently by Pak Army @ 2000/night, Kutton @ 1400/night (need advance booking at MZB Hydro Power Office). Hope you will not post pone your program.

@irfannaqvi ,They will not book now, better to visit their office at site & if you will not find room there than go with other options like KEL have 3-4 other hotels & you will get the room easily there , if you reached there in noon than another option is to move forward and find a room at Tao Butt where 2 hotels are available.

Similarly at Keran if didnt find any room than dont worry 2 others hotel available at Keran. Lets suppose you didnt found anyone at Keran than move farward to 15 minutes drive for Upper Neelum Village base point where 3-4 hotels available, if you didnt find there than again no worry make a 20 minute drive to Upeer Neelum Village where 4-5 hotels available.

Remember the Thumb Rule :

Always plan to reach the night staying place before sun set/dark, ideally at Asar Time at that time mostly rooms are available as more than 70% visitors book room after magrib/dark. Also early birds have always benefits

I am Abdul Hameed from Karachi-Pakistan, I was just checking on PW forum tour and trips and fortunately find your threads on this section,and after reading of few lines of your threads and narration I myself cannot stop further to read your all thread's and after finished this threads I myself bound must comment on this;).

Dear brother traveling is also my hobby so I am on p.w.only for this purpose and read many many threads on travel and trips & learn more and more from different friends, but the only thing which impressed me on your thread is your way of talking/narration and specially your way of traveling ((TRAVELING BY A PUBLIC TRANSPORT)) with wife and a small child which ultimately attracted me.
So now I must say something for a real appreciation not only formality, your planning is very good & realistic, narration is very good and simple to the point informative too & no need to consult any dictionary:) ... and in the last give you (10/10) for only one reason that you traveled by Public Transport with family & a child (Shukar Allhamdulillah reached safely), Because 99 percent of the travel and trips threads on P.W. was done by own transport or rented transport facilities. The only objection on this threads is that no of pictures are not enough for this kind of beautiful trips, so next time more pictures are demanded in advance... ....So Hats Off, hope now enjoying with your family members.
