Reading of MAF sensor.
Your engine is a bit weak or the Pcv air intake is choked etc.
Thats when trims start moving like this
For that I need to change PCV valve and do compression test!
Vehicle model details pls?
Vitz 2001, 1s-zfe
Then not to worry about it it does get rich by time and aging plus check for visual smoke and check the short term fuel trims at constant 4000 rpm if the fuel trims shift toward -20 then brother the engine is blowing out the oil in form of smoke and oxygen sensor is sensing it as fuel and the ECM is cutting down the fuel to compensate it. Do the teat and let us know
Thank you for the reply, there is no smoke while readings of fuel trims at 4K rpm are;
most likely its a leaking exhaust valve, i'd suggest a compression test, table in post #21 pointed towards a chocked CAT as well but the last chart rules that out
Performed the Exhaust valve leak Paper test but didnt find blow by.
while after changing MAF, cleaning of intake manifold the readings still in -ive but reduced.
@rajaatta while engine dont burn any oil as it is evident from condition of exhaust.
Your location ?
Peshawar
Performed the dry compression test from Dabstermotorsports peshawar; readings on all cylinders were 170
While they changed the spark plugs to ngk
Because previous one was leaking current due to ceramic burning as per Dabstermotorsports mechanic
Fingers crossed lets c what effect it has on the issue.
Try to find OWS spark plugs as you are already in peshawar.
dont inspect condition of exhaust for oil burn condition. This is not a 2 stroke suzuki carry that will coat the exhaust with oil.
Any special reason of using ows, due to ceramic burning?
Noted sir!
No ceramic burning is not a problem and it doesnt cause any harm too
If it dsnt cause any harm, then they wasted extra Rs. 1400.
Stop wasting money guys
