dude facelifted corolla is availble already in alot of countries all they did was that they imported stuff from those countries and made the car look alike,what you talking about rahim complex or something like that at its best day even wouldnt be able to make a thing like that,they just tightened the bolts on imported headlights n stuff which u can also do that by importing facelift acessories and buying a rs5 china screw driver

according 2 me the existing model is much decent as comparing it with the facelift and the rear lights it sucks like the cultus lights so its an uncertain car

And I talked to my source in Toyota Airport Motors Lahore again and he reiterated that the engine in the 1.6 version will be the 3ZZ-FE with single VVT-i, and that the XLi trim will be abandoned. Can anyone else confirm this XLi news?

From the way I look, if Toyota and Indus want to fight the market share with Honda, reducing the Altis from 1.8 to 1.6 would be stupid unless they are giving ZR engine with Dual VVT-i.

If they are giving ZR engine, the 1.6 power is just a little below 1.8ZZ engine but with better FC.
If Toyota and Indus do that, no point buying a Honda Civic anymore!!!

What our company's do here is to pick up all the outdated and unsold stuff from Thailands and Malaysian markets and then sell it here. All those 2C, IZZ-FE, lights of Honda Civic etc etc are not being manufactured anymore. Thus they get it below market rate and sell it here.

If ZR engines comes, then Corolla 1.6 definitely worths the price.

Yes u are quite true but because of CNG ,dual vvti gonna be big flop like the one in present gli .So obviously they will give se salloon single vvti engine tht was superb on cng and gives excellent mileage on cng.

To me its just another Corolla now, Jab aegi dekhleinge. No surprises for me, Id be surprised to see sumthing thats isnt spied and already out, This things been spied, seen by many all over the world, even the facelift imports avalible as a after market upgrade. So who needs it out of factory now.

-Yes the 1.6 1ZR wud be a surprise.
-Head light washers in atleast top of the line model wud be a surprise.
-Chrome Handels (as in the hybrid Civic, or Chrome on door mouldings on 05 Altis, wud looks gud)
-A standard immobilizer would be a surprise
-A standard Airbag would be a surprise
-Key less entry would be a surprise
-Climate control
-Streeing wheel controls
-Height adjusters

There are a gazzilion more things then just lights and bumpers change and a price increase!!!

Y cant they atleast put airbags in the Optional column :S, any one who needs them can pay extra
