Kindly follow the thread which storm put up some time back as an alternative to the local mafia cars.I personally would rather buy a sunny or a lancer or a 2nd hand japanese car then these crap overpriced cars.And FYI,stop blaming everything on the govt.Pehle apne aap ko sudharu fir bolo.You are the consumers who buy these cars and increase their demand and price.Just get a nissan or some other 2nd hand japanese car instead of purchasing these mafia cars.And if you dont like the govt so much,why dont u vote for other party.Jaake imran khan ko vote dou phir.

ON Today in Karachi stands at Rs. 150K for the Gli and around Rs 100k for the Xli.
Going a bit off topic but the City auto is for Rs,50k on for auto without navigation and Vti Oriel Prosmatec with navi but without leather has an ON off Rs 175K on it.

Yup, exactly same engine as b4 or can be of further low quality , but no improvement
Few cosmetic changes in bumpers/lights/dash board colour
GLi with 1.6L will be introduced in May 2011 which would be of course with new/powerful engine and it will be named as Altis

This is only good in theory. If you stop buying these craps right now, what other options you have really? Go in public busses, taxis or railways with your family? Or have a bike and endanger your life?

If you don't buy them now, chances are that just a year later the price would have moved above Rs. 20 lacs for the same piece of crap you chose not to buy a year before. Not wise at all. Then people who bought this crap at 15 lac would be laughing at your fate within their heart. (same is the case with people who are laughing right now at our misery when corolla prices jumped to 12 lac and we all said stop buying this crap at that price level).

We have to understand demand/supply mechanism 1st before expecting that a protest would lead to decline in price and profitability of the Suzukis Toyotas and Hondas in Pakistan. In a population of over 180 million, an annual car production of 120,000 only would fetch its buyers EASILY. Even if prices increase to 50 lacs for a City or XLI, chances are strong that there will be 120,000 buyers among the 180 million population who can pay that money to buy themselves a respectable mode of transport (as compared to travelling in public transport).

That is the hard and bitter truth that people should realize.

I dont know why people dont why Nissan Sunny 1.6 at 1225 Lakh. Its nice sedan

1.3 version would be discontinued as said by a Toyota representative as its under powered and xli and gli would become 1.6, and regarding the cosmetic changes I really don't like as done by Indus, it was more graceful before well its my personal taste and opinion.

we in india shall be gettin the new corolla in may.2011.
is the new corolla available now in pakistan..
the new corolla petrol shall also come now wid 7 speed automatic transmission..instead of the 4 speed one currently
although no new engines in offering..
