Acc to me what Toyota Indus should do is:
1. Introduce aN SUV with in 3million like Rav4
2. Introduce a car with in 3million. (base model of Toyota Camry {$22k} in USA is just a mere 4k dollars more than that of corolla S {$18k})
3. Fortuner price should be reconsidered as a brand new 4runner a bigger SUV costs just $ 31k in USA.

its really a boring looker. ugly interior as well as exterior. Rav4 is dynamic and stylish. it should be replaced with rav4

No offense but jahaz aur cycle ki ek jaisi shape... I hate that concept. You need to peek inside a GLi with false badges and trims to know if its really an altis or not.

Lastly, whats "electronically adjustable"? Its tilt and telescopic same as XLI and GLi. All corollas have EPS, no difference...

Sir ji dual vvti engine is efficient..I love manual transmission and thus altis offers optimal speeds at low rpms..26 Lakh is a lot for a full spec car(you know what i am referring to,,can buy a decently used merc in this price)

Navigation comes with Altis MT hard top at retail price.(nothing extra like c..)

as there is a differential of 2-3 lakh b/w (BLEEP) FAIL--please compare the full spec models.

So it all comes down to what you consider as affordable family sedan.As i said not a fan of any of the two brands,,i just see things from an independent perspective.Also pitting altic vs new civic is unjustified w8 for 2014 corolla

i totally agree.. altis and civic comparison at this time is pointless
lets just wait for next gen corolla... i guess she will be a rocker

If they would've introduced a USDM Corolla S variant with a 1.8 litre engine, and named it whatever the hell they wanted too, I would have sold my GLi and bought this. If not a bigger engine the could've installed a TRD tuned 1.6 litre engine.

I visited Toyota showroom today and personally checked it out. I think it has a very sporty feel to it and justifies the price tag. I have booked one in the new colour they just launched. Anxiously waiting now for its delivery.
