Wow, that would be amazing. The Civic looks hot with this facelift. It will gonna eat Grande for sure, in terms of sale, resale and performance.

Unlike Indus, Atlas always delivers.
They aren't putting small underpowered engines in their cars like Indus is putting 2nzfe in Corolla.
They are giving immobilizer in all Civic trims.
Their car's build quality is better. Just see the Pakistani new Corolla rear lights in previous pages. They are not aligned.

Atlas build quality is almost same or a bit better than Indus;
Trunk had a hard time closing- Cause: The lock base had to be aligned.
Check out Civic's in front of you- Most of the mud flaps are almost falling off.
Drive on a bumpy road in new Civic- Dashboard will start vibrating- They are held by clips and not screws.

Civic face lift looks great but after spending almost 2.7 million I really don't want to see face lift anytime soon !
This current shape will loose 3 lacs easily obviously we can't get the cost of registration and accessories back
And new one will be around 2 lacs expensive than current so to get face lift we will have to add 5 lacs !

Wesay I don't think they will launch face lift before 2016
Their main focus is on new city right now !

Agreed to some extent but they are not able to sell as many units as Toyota do so they are definitely doing something wrong somewhere.

Some weird sounds were there in my reborn tht is 8th gen civic on bumpy roads but it was a 2009 end model so obviously such sounds develop when u drive in khi in 2 to 3 years max
But so far no such vibrating noise from dashboard in my new civic done 13 k kms now
Both top of the line corollas I had 2009 and 2011 models had many irritating vibrating weird noise from dashboard front windscreen rear seat and rear speaker panel
Esp the silver panels on both sides of ac knobs and navigation always makes these sort of tik tuk even when when ur knee slightly touches these silver panels when u put ur left foot on foot rest
The only irritating thing of this type I hate in civic is the front center arm rest both in 8th n 9th gen it makes irritating noise when u put ur arm on armrest !

If they introduce city's 1.3 Ltr engine in civic which is still better And powerful than Indus toyota 's 1.3ltr engine and take out all the good things from civic and price it near Gli we won't see any corolla on roads then ! But yes they will have to discontinue city for that

I think you are right. Honda is happy with what they are getting. In an industry with fewest players, territories are well marked. they do not cross into each other areas to give real competition to each other which can benefit the end consumer.

you are right the only noise in my 8th gen is of the center arm rest.Kept two 8th gens both had the noise which feels cheap

having personally experienced this new indus corolla i can safely say Xli/ Gli will rule again and Altis will suffer, why? couple of reasons..
1. They should have kept Altis as Altis, the top of the line trim thats it. what they are doing now is that 1.8=Altis while classifications in Altis like simple, SR, Grande etc with stuff there in Grande missing in other Altis variants is too bad. The top of the line Grande trim has everything driver/ passenger airbags, cruise controls & navigation and paddle shifts etc and will cost around 24 lacs (unofficial news from insiders). obviously no one will go for slightly cheaper stripped Altis variants with 1.8 engine and goodies missing for say 20 lac+
2. Xli automatic can be curtains for city, BUT the interior which looks fabulous (as per corolla standards) in Altis Grande looks somewhat incomplete in other trims due to lack of chrome, functions/ buttons and other missing stuff.. price is very important here
3. Gli 1.6 will have market of its own
4. unconfirmed sources say civic is bringing a face-lift to counter the Grande and will have push-start, improved tail lights and other stuff while all other Altis variants will suffer again

CIVIC can bring some goodies like Push Start etc but no facelift before 2016. They will rather compete Corolla thru their City 2015 which is likely to be launched in beginning of 2015

We Pakistanis are in love with Rolla.. Nothing wrong with Honda rather Honda has much better quality as compared to Corolla but the mindset is "mein te GLI ee le saa"
You know in 2010 i was thinking between Gli and Honda City and most of my friends etc were asking me to stay away from city and when i asked them y, they hd no solid reason.. I however bought city and m quite happy with it..

Corolla has best Ac, soft suspension and comfortable seats with a Proper sedan look......City has better economy becoz of smaller tyres and body, road grip , braking and handling better than corolla but City Ac is weaker than corolla, seating position not good lik Rolla and Stiff suspension lacks comfort and city has a smaller sporty look..Rest personal choice matters....
1.3 Corollas Xli and Gli are the the Roughest and Toughest cars...no matter how much heat is there Corolla AC chills the Cabin, Suspension designed for roughest roads....After Driving Corolla you just can't adjust with City...
Since I own Gli Ecotec
Economy Petrol 11-12kmpl city 14-16kmpl highway
Cng 120-150kms local. 180-200kms highway
All these econo figs are with AC!

I don't think so, 9th Gen civic is very economical car in fuel Economy if you will drive any XLI 1300cc corolla you will get Max 14/liter on Highway but Latest model Civic is giving 17/liter and in this average CiVic is way better then any type of corolla, plus it's 1800cc

Civic should be launched in 1.3 and 1.5 versions. ......Then a proper competition will take place......City iz unable to compete properly with Gli!
