Shape is good
But can't say anything about Indus version with those old alloys it doesn't look that impressive in pics atleast plus the quality matters like I said previously if we are getting wide gaps between body panels misaligned tail lights etc then it's really irritating at such high price ( it will be high we all know that )
I like the shape with 17s alloys low profile tyres bodykit and tints it will look too dashing
If they give all the basic needed features like dual airbags climate control immobilizer projectors auto off headlights all the features that the competition is giving for the last two years I might consider it and go for it
But with this spec sheet I still think Xli , Gli is the best option in corolla
We will have a same shape
We can make it even better than ordinary altis by getting bigger rims bodykit etc
Car will have same suspension
Same comfort
Except for leather and reclining rear seat the seats will be same with same comfort and space / legroom
Everything is same except for engine and few other features
Gli and gli automatic will be the best variant with avg features and much lesser price than top of the line variant

I m also in favor of Gli as compared to altis but thinking abt orange speedometer of xli/gli makes me double minded

Again I did not say Liana or Swift are bad or good cars. Swift is a good car but it has arrived too late in our country. Liana is selling here since 2006 ( I mean they are not even replacing it after so many years who knows paksuzki may selll it for 5 years more). As Pakistani's we should not settle for outdated cars.

Regarding the immobilizer, you should have another look at the thread and see my previous posts. I have criticized the new corolla's specifications multiple times, especially the lack of mobilizer.

Similarly I do not dislike the Cultus I dislike the Paksuzuki variant of Cultus. If the same care was sold in Pakistan like late 80's/ early 90's like in other countries with decent features yes it would have been a good option.

We as a nation should not accept low quality obsolete products simple. Pakistan should not be made a dumping ground for obsolete cars. our local work force is hard working and capable enough to develop modern cars but these foreign assemblers are simply abusing their power and unjustified protection by the government ( in the form of zero safety and security regulations)

Agreed but people here dont hv much choice or do they?? Even most of imported cars coming here are obsolete and filling junkyards

Looks like IMC is not providing premium high quality entertainment/ audio system as I have seen here on US models or the one available in European/ Thailand market.

As far as paddle shifters. It will not make any difference.

Its a china made Android OS entertainment system. Sound quality is satisfactory. Far better the normally available systems in market. NO CD/DVD only USB and SD card.

We all are unconfirmed about specs but we all know about its exterior which is much better than civic in looking.

           I don't think so , don't comment after looking at Pics  of  international /Thailand / turkey/ Corolla , compare it with Indus Version Corolla , someone posted it earlier , have a look at it again , and I am afraid here in looks it is looking bad , even as compared to previous 10th gen corolla !

Well you can expect anything from IMC....Everyone at Pakwheels forum Suggested that If Fortuner was launched at a very high Price it wont sell and we have the results now.....Then came Prius...we all know how that went.....Now they are working on Corolla launch and trying to screw that up too....i think there is a HONDA mole inside IMC which is trying to Drown the company otherwise IMC should fire all its marketing and Sales staff and Just read Pakwheels forums for feedback and make their decision based on real consumer feedback.

IMC is still making some changes to the tvc, they have not yet demanded the tvc release yet.. means that the launch is somewhere in the middle of July. No daytime running lights offered in local version. The Corolla which was used in video commercial (exterior) was shot in Thailand and hence they are asking to match it with the local version as much as we can Also the Grande provided to us (for interior photo shoots) had 2 airbags (driver & passenger).. other Altis trims may have 1 Airbag only

In Sales and Technical staff training IMC trainer clearly mention that the Altis Grande have only 1 airbag and no climate control

Have heard that the wheel base of xli/gli will remain same as old model but new altis will have an increase in its wheel base too ? Is it true ?

The TVC still doesnt proves every thing, Since their is going to be * and the * would say, Actual may differ, INDUS MOTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGES THINGS WITHOUT NOTICE
