Brother if your country's road and infrastructure is not good you cannot criticize ride quality.

You can bring your C63 AMG here and witness its ride quality at local roads it will hit on every speed breaker and ride quality with its stock 235/40 ZR18 semi slicks would be even worse than a Cultus it does not make it a worse car than Cultus.

Each car has its role, like you cannot send an Accountant to do a salesperson job.

Well I've been careful enough to eliminate the 'selection bias' of the test drives I'm talking about. I live in Islamabad and roads here are as good as in Dubai or Texas. The 'bias' of poor road quality was eliminated by me when I selected smooth silky roads of Islamabad.

Talking about my C63 AMG. I've it in Michigan, USA where roads are worse than in Islamabad because of heavy snowing in Winters. Summers are mildly hot and Winters are extremely cold. This temperature variation tremendously damages roads and cracks them. The damage to roads is further aggravated by putting salt on the roads after snowing. Salt damages the road surface and has the ability to put large potholes in the roads. You will know that salt lowers the freezing temperature of water and is used by road managing authorities to thaw the snow so that it can be scraped clear by the ploughs. Authorities over there are always repairing roads. So my C63 AMG runs on roads in Michigan which are harsher than in Islamabad. That's why I prefer driving my Jeep Grand Cherokee on those rough roads and don't feel anything. I take out my C63 only when I find good driving conditions mainly in Summers when road repair is taken care of.

Believe you me, my C63 AMG will perform better in Islamabad than in Michigan because of better roads. The weather over there is very traumatic to the roads. Only 4X4s will perform better there.

When testing the ride quality of Corolla and Civic, I was careful enough to test them in Islamabad where roads are as good as in Europe, Dubai or Texas.

Cultus is a miserable car. Both build and ride quality is pathetic. When I was in my college years in the 80s, my mom bought me a zero-mile Suzuki FX to commute between home and college, 1985 model, and it has clocked more than 300,000 km. Its build quality is amazing and still going strong. It is better than Cultus. My sister has a Cultus which I drive occasionally and I've found the car pathetic. My FX drives better than it. Such is the appalling quality of today's Suzuki brand.

Bangladesh shut out Toyota & Suzuki from Pakistan in 2009 - All New Toyotas & Suzukis sedans pickups & mini &micro vans in Bangladesh are landing from India. quality & finishing of product in India is in close match to Thai standards & improving in India.

while India is focusing on D4D with auto transmission Corolla we in Pakistan shall not expect a 2D Corolla 5 speed Manual Tranmission till end June 2015.

Toyota " MAY " (open booking) launch new shape in couple of weeks time for delivery in May - June 2014 but rest assured Indus su_cks big time am thoroughly disappointed with quality & finish of Corolla I took delivery only saturday last.

Anujm motors in Karachi - Owners of Toyota Central have 5 units new shape in stock, but be not surprised if it is the US shape of Corolla 2014 & 1.6 6 speed manual right hand drive & Burgundy red is automatic with a HUD.

do not believe my rant, walk up to Toyota Central verify what they have to offer for 2014 in Corolla line up

I've looked into the Anjum Motors Corollas. They are not official Indus Motors CBU Corollas from Thailand.

Right hand drive US shape doesn't exist as US shape is exclusively left hand drive.

APV & Jimmy are Imported from Suzuki Vietnam . brand new wagon-R landed price is equivalent of Local Cultus VXR you must've seen a JDM used Wagon-R for repairs or some maintenance work

With all due respect, these companies are here for making profits and they will do whatever they can to make profits.

Its the govt along with its people to regulate each and every thing which is sadly not applicable in this part of the world.

What will we expect when every thing is getting expensive from food, electricity, gas etc which are necessity.

My source in Indus informed me that even for this time, Indus not considering the Immobilizer function!

Hence, what you get from a +2 Mils vehicle is a Carry dabba easiness wrt to hot-wiring for thieves!

@Umair.................I think this important issue calls for a PW campaign against indus!

Why not begin today and email them a link? Would you guyz like to spread out this message to Indus? This requires a united effort right here with plenty, plenty of signatures, followed by an invitation to Indus to visit our site.

I remember a while ago , some fellow member launched a petition on

Many people would not spend 1.5 lakh extra for basic features to buy GLi instead of Xli. Indus is mean on that count. Other manufactures/assemblers do not stoop to such a level of stripping.

If Indus also gives power windows in Xli, immobiliser it could jack up the price by 35-50 k and still there would not be impact on sale. That is why I say niyyat kee baat ha.

They r winner in 1300cc they will never let go of that and new corolla is available in 1300cc in other parts of the world as well and yes launch is just around the corner. They might only roll out 1600 initially.

This news could be very true, because their are rumours that indus might get rid of the Xli/GLI variants, but what they could go is that bring back the 1800cc Engine for Altis and keep Gli and Gli AT as 1600cc versions. But these are still assumptions lets see how does it goes.

Another news links to it is the launch of the Etios, They need to maintain a decent margin between Etios and Xli or the basic Corolla what ever its going to be.

Hold your horses, Their are chances that their is no Xli, And we only get a 1.6 GLI manual and AT with a 1.8 Altis.
