New Corolla launch by Toyota Indus Motors

We all know the information about launching the new model is uber secret, however there is got to be a someway we can gather information. The marketing agency handling toyota has got to know the information because its not possible that indus motors has not discussed marketing strategies with them.

After staying uncertain and uninformed abt corrola new launch, i finnaly decided to come in contact with High brass of ministry of industry..Today via themm i knew that new corrola launch will be rolled out by Indus Habib in Mid April.. I am going for corrola 2014 this april..Its authentic. I like US design not european. If this forum urges me, i can get authentic info abt its design in pak.. Its not necessary we will follow thailand..

I can ONLY vouch for the line above in RED. Toyota Central Karachi dealership could have been revoked on pulling stunt of US shape being 2014 model, but please check my share of info the car i took delivery about 3 weeks back is model 2014 and is of existing shape. so new shape of 2014 will 'PING' the market after March 2014 for delivery schedule in July ~ onward in 2014

does anyone remember after how many years Toyota Indus changed the shape of Corolla after the 1st launch ?? & change came in terms of US version shape

they are planning Etios, 1100cc They have to sell that or atleast create the artificial competition (i.e Denizen and Levis) Im not saying that they would leave the 1.3 market, But their are chances, the 1.6 if avalible manual would be only 55k more pricier then the 1.3L Corolla,

You can do the maths, AT tranny in Altis is 90k, If you remove 90k from the price of the 1.6 Gli AT you get 55k more then the GLI 1.3

PS: I just checked the Toyota website, The difference between 1.3 Gli Manual and 1.6 AT is only 60k, So if their is a 1.6 manual GLI is should be 90k cheaper like altis manual and AT has a difference of 90k, So its pretty much workable and both the cars are equally fuel effiecicent 1600cc is probably the least engine that body requires, 1300cc Corolla is pretty sluggish on overtaking on highways

it lacks some things which Gli manual has like .. Gli has 4 speakers it has only 2. Back seats has arm rest in Gli manual but 1.6 Gli standard are Xli kinda seats ..no arm rests

additional things are

1. maching door handles and mud guards
2. Navigation
3. Keyless entry ( different than those offered in Altis. It is steel mate kinda )
4. Wooden panels
5. Four speakers
6. Arms rest / central console in thr back seats

Price difference between standard Gli Auto and LE Auto is 1.25 lacs ... OMG

Some of the removed features in 1.6 Gli auto explains price diff of 60k while Altis auto has the price difference of 90k between manual and auto variants

Umair bhae, im still guesing that the website has some human error, Gli AT cannot be 60k more pricier then Gli manual, Because anyone going for GLI Manual LE would or should obviusly go for the 1.6 Gli AT STD eventually.

On its launch Gli manual and AT 1.6 has a difference of 55+90 = 145k, So i assumed that indus can comeup with a basic 1.6 manual Gli for 55k more then the 1.3 GLi.

The 1.25k difference is betweeen 1.3 LE and 1.6 LE (Both Glis) so im guessing both the STDs should also have the same difference no?

GLI AT LE has Keyless entry, Door Chrome rubbers (as in Altis) and a better fabric,

NAVi, Matching door handles, Wooden trim are also there in the 1.3 Gli LE,

Centre console/Arm rest and 4 speakers are standard in GLi (STD) irrespective of 1.3 and 1.6.

Initially the 1.6 GLi was just a tranny and engine change into the manual 1.3 Gli, Eventually both cars came out as LE, The 1.6 GLi LE has more features (i.e Chrome rubbers, Keyless entry, better fabric) the LE costs around 45k more in both cases 1.3 and 1.6 GLi

PS: Im still not sure if the 1.6 GLI STD has rear seat like Xli and has 2 speakers,

Im not sure but i have a feeling at that time, Their was no Toyota Thailand or Toyota India, Toyota Pakistan was being handled directly by Japan, Now Thailand being the regional head takes cares of supplies, Isnt it?

The Habib Indus is going to roll out Toyota corrola 2014 in April 2014. The new features and looks, coupled with new govt taxation will give boost to its price. I have been told its going to be launched in April. I am not making any rumor.

I havnt got still any idea whether American design will go in Pak or European style. Untill recently, i was interested in USA design but now i have started liking European one. Coz American style in corrola resembles City new shape.

Interesting thing about Corrola's new launch is not merely its dashboard or outer lights, indeed the introduction of new colours have graced its beauty.My calculations tell me its estimated price would be 18,00,000.

The interior you posted above is not for 11TH gen corolla US version. Here you go as I saw it personally. BOTH us and EU version have same interior with slight difference in cluster only.

1. do u think the dark-blu colored corrola will be availabale in pak (see above in a post of mine)?

2. Which design is likely in pak: European or American?

I think one shld buy the old model rite now of 2014 invoice the new model will get mature after 1 year atleast i think and this rolla current model is mature it wld not lose its price however gain price and after 1 year one can sale that nd can buy new mature model.
Mature means without any flaws which normally appear in new modela

Looking at all the LE models, The 6th sense says they could come up with a new Corolla by April as they came up with the face-lift in march-April 2011.

But every other thing says that they might start booking and deliveries would take place in the 3rd quarter as Toyota Corollas financial history prevails, Then increasing prices just after the budget wouldn't be a great idea, They would want to keep prices stable where ever they can so a launch after the budget seems legit.

Other then that there are chances and sources claiming that Indus motors already has the car, one reason to say that is they have ditched the off white shade, in current models they are offering super white in Xli and Gli aswell that was limited to ALTIS sportivo. And the new bronze color also looks like a new shade made for the upcoming cars.

But Etios's launch is also on the waiting list, The marketing campaign etc takes alot of budget, RND bla bla, They wouldn't be launching 2 cars at the same time, But there might be a six month gap.

Fingers crossed, Let things unfold.

thanks zabymao bro..But i guess its price will hit 18 -plus lacs. as about exact date, its hard to extract. But the owner of indus motors have themselves said they will roll out 2014 model in April. it might be 5th april , 11th april, or 25th april..I can guess dates,,but no idea. better to wait for April. I hope they wont make us fool.
