Yes I completely agree brand new is brand new my both cars are local ones n new haha I don't have any inferiority complex for imported things n cars
Just to enjoy the charm n fragrance of a brand new car I sold my Nissan Ad expert (1.5ltr auto station wagon) and bought swift as a DD few months back
But if u have a budget of 7 to 9 lacs what options do u have sir in local cars ? A new mehran or new wagon r vx thts the only option
Chalein let's compare 2nd hand local vs imported jdm
A suzuki cultus vs a Toyota passo , or even Mira 4 door , or Nissan station wagon or probox or lancer wagon etc all these fresh imported cars are he'll better than mehran or cultus or 2001 corolla or civic
My Nissan Ad expert / wingroad was more than 120000kms driven n yes meter reversed to 35 k only lol
But yes it was just like a 0 meter car engine bay body interior all the parts lights n everything was just too good and in brand new condition used it as a daily driven sometimes in harsh conditions rough roads floored it countless times be coz it had awesome pick n acceleration it never gave me any trouble
It's not the complex it's what we can get in our limited budgets (not talking about u sir u can afford a car of 2.5 million n above and call imported ones landay ki car
I too have this Latest top of the line Civic with mouth watering extras but tht doesn't give me the power n right to degrade others or hurt others by passing such comments About used imported cars

Brother when 9th gen arived the $ rate was 32/, same as when 10th arived the $ rate was 65/ now it is around 100/ or less.

The biggest question still remains.

Pakistan is a very good country for manufacturing as labour laws are non existant. Why has no-one ever seen a part for a corolla sold in international markets that says "MADE IN PAKISTAN"

you cannot expect IMC to roll out a car just because its "nice" - the figures are of a machinist shop making some money assembling lego cars from Jpn. No monies - Toyota is selling IMC CKDs then getting a share again as its Toyota anyway.

very well said bro, all laws didn't exists in apply able form, reason of so much hike price are KICKBACKS from top to low, in this price we cant compete international market. moreover alternate electricity production costs more in production is also a hindrance.

It is 100% confirmed that new corolla is going to be launched in July 2014. IMC has discontinued current shape Altis. Initially new altis will be launched.
