New driver Islamabad to muree, Mehran 2012

Salam everyone, I was reading all old threads about isb to muree suggestions, but I am still confused, it's been a week's 2-3 I am driving Mehran in Peshawar city , traffic , small roads which are very tough to drive day and night driving alot to learn and in extreme traffic I can drive in that now, I am planning to go to muree with my wife , most of people are talking negative , some are suggesting old route for new driver's that is gt road and single road , only few are suggesting new express way as that is double motorway road,

Things I done with my car, new clutch plates + disc,
Tuning, coolant,

Mehran model 2012 , good engine quality , now excellent pick after new clutch plates,

I drive slow and safe,

What you guys suggest should I go with slow and safe drive or it's not a right time for me , just rent a car from isb ???

Need honest suggestions

please stick to new highway only (super easy to drive, take your own car)
keep on your side, leave only to overtake
downhill way downshift and take help of gears to break speed.
do not brake hard or stop on steep bends

I would suggest that you rent a car and notice how the driver drives on those roads, driving on mountain roads is alot harder than it seems, many people take it lightly and end up paying the price.
Since you have only been driving for 3 weeks, you probably don't have the ability to deal with new terrain as yet, especially one that involves steep narrow roads

پہاڑی علاقوں میں ایک نئے ڈرائیور کیلئے بہتر ہے کہ دوسرے گیئر میں رکھ کر گاڑی چلائے لیکن جہاں چڑھائی زیادہ ہے وہاں پہلا گیئر استعمال کرے۔ اگر چڑھائی پر کسی وجہ سے گاڑی روکنا پڑے تو ہینڈ بریک استعمال کریں اور دوبارہ چلتے وقت پہلے گیئر میں ایکسیلیٹر سے گاڑی کی پاور بنا کر ہینڈ بریک چھوڑیں۔ اپنی سائیڈ پر رہیں اور بالکل ٹھنڈے دماغ سے ڈرائیونگ کریں اور اپنی نظریں سامنے مرکوز رکھیں۔

اترائی کے وقت گاڑی کو دوسرے گیئر میں رکھیں اور بریک کا استعمال کم سے کم کریں ۔ بریک کا استعمال اس وقت کریں جب گاڑی کی سپیڈ کو کنٹرول کرنا ہو۔ بریک کے زیادہ استعمال سے بریک کے گرم ہونے کا چانس ہوتے ہیں۔ کچھ دیر کے بعد کسی اچھے پوائنٹ پر رک کر قدرتی مناظر سے لطف اندوز ہوں اس سے گاڑی کو بھی ریسٹ ملتا رہے گا۔

گاڑی جب بھی کہیں روکنی ہو یا پارک کرنی ہو تو ہینڈ بریک لازمی کھینچیں۔

گاڑی مکینیکل فٹ ہو ۔ اس پیڈل بریک اور ہینڈ بریک مکمل فٹ ہوں۔ گاڑی کا ہیٹنگ ایشو نہ ہو۔

جب تک آپ مری کی اصل چڑھائیوں پر چڑھو گے تو اس وقت تک چھوٹی موٹی چڑھائیوں پر جاتے وقت ٹرینڈ ہو جاؤ گے۔

ایک نئے ڈرائیور کیلئے ایکسپریس وے بہترین چوائس ہے کیونکہ وہاں آنے اور جانے کیلئے علیحدہ علیحدہ سڑک ہے۔

اسلام آباد سے گاڑی کی ٹینکی فل کروا لیں۔

گاڑی کا آئل تبدیل کیا گیا ہو اور ایئر فلٹر بھی اچھی حالت میں ہو۔ اگر عام پانی کی بجائے گاڑی کے ریڈی ایٹر میں کولنٹ ہو تو زیادہ اچھا ہے۔

Islamabad to murree is not a hill driving. It's like motorway with some ups and down. Murree express way is fun to drive. Never use excessive breaks. Use low gears to slow down the car. Never ever use water to cool down hot breaks. Take some rest and let the breaks cool down naturally otherwise your break disk or drum will be deformed.
Old Murree road has few steep turns so I will advise not to use it.

Use the express way instead of old road and keep in mind while coming down hill use the lower gear. Murree route is the easiest one and do not require expert level of driving.

use the new route. It is quite easy to handle for new driver with majority of road is quite good.
Two things to remember while driving in hilly areas,
1. No Over Speeding
2. No Overtaking unnecessary

Very important, always use handbrake when stopping car on upward slope. If you use normal brake, your car will inevitably go down a bit before coming back up. It is bad for the gears also, for your safety also and for the person behind you as well.

This tip is applicable for manual cars.

Going to Murree from Islamabad via expressway on Mehran should not be a problem. From Express way there is Musiary link road on left to Murree. It has some steep climb. I recommend you not to take this route, instead go straight to Lower Topa, Ghika gali and than to murree to avoid this steep climb.

Thanks everyone for supporting and guiding , i got motivation from you guys and Allah ka nam ly k Express way sy journey start kerdi, its the easiest way i think straight roads 60 speed limit i was on 40 50, mehran was running smoothly on 3rd gear on slides also , and deep slopes 2nd gear was also working perfectly , car no heat-up , and when i was coming back downhill i was using 2nd gear and 1st gear only no accelerator i used clutch for slowing the car + for speeding the car in down hill also, and after the express way i took the left steep top turn which have 7 8 tight slopes and directly goes to jhika gali , express way was much better than old route in terms of scenry , attaching one of my stop picture + video while driving, Thankyou all again
