Perfect. So how high you lifted the top of rear cabin? I guess its 8 to 10 inches. Can you please share the cost of modification? Like how much for building and fixing the frame and how much for hood?

Its around 7" from the straight one. As explained earlier, the stock rear seat has the capacity to accommodate 2 ppl. Now to accommodate 3 persons, i had to fix a wider seat which resulted in more height and that's why i had to lift the rear top of the hood. Next week as already planned, i shall be making a roof cage on top of the front portion of the hood (the top of driver and co driver) so this de shaped sudden lift will not look bad. The advantages of all this punga is more space for people, the sound system got adjusted under the rear seat, more space at the back of the rear seat.

The frame was my own design. Costed me 11000 rs and 4 days. The hood costed me around 21000 including zips, plastic, majic tapes, foam from inside and the inner cloth. If it's without the foam and the inner cloth, one might make it in 15/16000.

Nouman bhai it's looking out of proportions at the moment but you have taken the right approach of functionality over looks once you add the roof rack on the front portion that will balance the looks. you could always add another led bar to it as well.

Thanks for explaining in detail and also for sharing cost break down. By the way should not the hood be designed after getting done with the roof cage over front portion to avoid some size or fitting issues? However I am sure you already have taken care of it.

In that case leakage issues would have been an issue. And i have 100% calculated it before even the frame was made. The location where the roof rack is to be fixed has already been made with the frame. Pls wait till i make the roof rack and it will be clear.

Oh yes, the aim was to have a practical approach. But surely it will look better once the roof rack is made.

In the last two days, worked on the roof rack. It's completed and fixed now. For clarity, i will post day time pics tomorrow inshallah. For now pls see these

The end result is not really that bad. Though, not giving the sexy looks it used to with the stock hood but still as i said earlier, i needed to be practical. I can now adjust 3 X six feet tall persons at the back, some reasonable stuff behind the rear seats and now on this cage as well. It's made in a way that it can lift around 100 kg's weight.

Now the picture is completed. Yes it has rightly absorbed and leveled the bum of high-roof. The advantages you got regarding cabin-space through this series of modifications (back seat, high-roof, roof rack) are fabulous. Good idea it was.
