honda usualy take 2 months for city delivery and rumours for facelift city launch is early august ( may be 14 aug ) so u booked in may so most probably u will get delivery of exsisting black interior
personaly i like beige interior in city but in fear of further increase price i opted black interior

dear brothersnew civic launch seems delay, 2nd test drive car still not on road.further today we recive first order of leather for new civic ( same light beige colour as in exsisting shape ) and our deliveryfor this order is 20 august ex-factory, means production in august and launch most probably in sep

One of my friend already booked oriel in new shape at Honda dealership in lahore about 2 weeks back and he has been given mid sept time for delivery.

The new honda civic booking has started. I guess mostly heavy investors sort of people are getting the cars booked at a provisional price of i think Rs 22,00,000 or maybe it was between 22 and 23 lacs, the guy showed me the booking invoice.
So does that mean the production of current civic has been stopped ?, though he did not say but my guess is the production of current civic model is stopped.

I highly doubt new civic would be 2.2-2.3 million.
Considering it would be a new shape and also 1.8 or 2.0 liter it should be 2.4-2.5 million.

Well i did say, it was told that it was provisional price and i did see the letter on which it was booked and price was there. It was 22lac something. Plus they said that the new model will not be hybrid and its just 1.8. Now i do not know of this 1.8 and hybrid with surety since this is what i was told but, but what i am sure of is the price that i saw on the documents.

I will be really happy if this new model got delayed by at least a month and old one's production is not stopped.

atleast your market is getting the new Civic. if news reports are accurate, the new Civic will not make it to the indian auto market as it isn;t cost effective for honda to sell it here due to competition.

No news for the beige interior city so far??? I have already booked city about 15 days back and have asked for the delivery to be on 30 Oct in the hope that i shall have assured begie interior city aspire.

yes. this was reported by Hormazd Sorabjee, editor of AutoCar(India) but nothing from Honda yet. pricing of the new Civic seems to be an issue worldwide.

latest new from one of the other threads is that aspire is being offered now in beige interior however, some members have reported that honda dealerships are asking additional 10,000 Rs before delivery of the car....
