went to suzuki capital motors on saturday for solution of noise coming from control arms.
I was directed by paksuzuki to go to this dealership as they had right left both control arms in inventory.
i was on time at sharp 9 o clock because i had alot on my mind to do on a saturday, they road test guy tested my car with hid greasy filthy hands and in between the road test i asked him to move to the passenger seat and let me drive the car myself and you keep your ear open for sounds coming from the front. once he heard those sounds we took car back to dealership and he asked the mechanic to tighten all the bolts. i repeatedly told them it has nothing to do with tightening of bolts as i have personally got all these bolts tightened with TORQUE WRENCH as per Mu specifications written in the manual. the mechanic started arguing that please let us do our job and he took the longest rod available and tightened all the bolts with all the power he had in his muscles, we road tested again and the sound was still there. I tried keeping my calm as it was 11 o clock already and i told them please do not waste more of my time just get the regular oil change and rest of maintenance work done as i dont have more time to waste with you guys.
as car was driven 13k i got the regular 15k service done (oil change, spark plugs cleaning, air filter change, oil filter change, brakes service). oh btw the mechanic was zabardasti trying to pour in 10w40 and argued with me on that too, i had to strictly tell him get the goddamn 5w30 and on pour that in.
all this was sorted out by 1 oclock. i left the dealership at exact 1 o clock.
I received call from paksuzuki warranty head by 2 o clock that he has spoken to dealership why did you not get control arm changed i clearly told him with car surrounded by all the expert doctors only bolts were tightened and they wasted alot of my time.
The Paksuzuki is arranging driver and they will send driver to my office today to collect the car and get the right and left both lower arms replaced and deliver the car back to me today.
I have strongly and strictly told them who ever gets in my car tell him to wash him hands and shoes. (I keep my car very clean and do not bear a slightest of dirt let alone greasy hand marks on dashboard as i have very annoying OCD)
Let see how it goes and if it possibly gets resolved by replacement of front right and left control arms.
i will update here accordingly.
P.s i am getting 21km/l avg local driving of islamabad. just got tank refilled and last tank gave me 665Km
