also about the spark plugs, they guy did good to u, as i was just checking the manual, and it doesnt at all says the pkugs should be inspected, i wonder why ?... its so comon for plugs to get dirty. the manual says replace them at 10, 20, 30, 40 thousand kms...

Here it is.

Manual figures. 565 km in 29.65 Ltr. Thats around 19.2 km/L inside city (islamabad) driving.

Note that the moment yellow light switched on i got fuel tank filled. The petrol pump is only 200meters from my house.

The tank has capacity of 30L.before yellow light switches on and once yellow light turns on you have 5 ltr remaining
After consuming 2.5ltr more the fuel bar starts blinking and beeps. Total fuel.capacity 35 ltr.

i have read all the reviews of most cars under 1000cc but wasn't helpful as there is no perfect car which can meet the satisfaction of all the nation hence making it impossible for decision making just on reviews if u had to buy a car.
Though PW reviews helped me decide not to go for imported ones under my set of priorities. (it doesn't mean that anyone should not go for imported ones)
to me, we have limited options in local cars category and it does not matter which car u drive as long as you are satisfied.
Booked cultus few days back, will be sharing my reviews later.

congratulations on booking, if you have booked VXL it was readily available in islamabad around 2 months back, not sure about the current situation though.

Thanks. Booked vxr in graphite grey. Couldn't stretch for vxl. In Lahore delivery time is currently same for both varients i.e. 2.5 months

Hi,
I have seen many people are saying fuel average around 15 to 20km/l.
I have same variant VXL and done around total of 350km . The maximum average I have seen in 12.5 or 13.5(within city Karachi)
Is there some thing I need to check?

In Karachi on most routes the average speed is very low and driving in first gear inching in bumper to bumper traffic especially in summers you have air conditioning ruining the average. E.g. going it used to take me 30-40 minutes to travel a 9km commute. I used to drive a 1.6 Liana automatic at 12 km/L in Islamabad, brought same car to Karachi and never saw 10 km/L.

That's true Karachi traffic condition is change . However I must say that my running was not bumper to bumper traffic and I normally use AC fan option 1 or 2 . So probably the average would be much better after 1000/km
