New swift vs vitz?

Hi lads
I owned vitz 2004 manual 1 litre car very nice pearl black and convert it to 1.3 2sz cost me only 25000 rs which is nothing, I burn swift few times.
vitz is wicked.

Swift is 1328 cc.....2cc more than liana as liana is 1326....corolla is i think{im nt sure} 1298.....

Purely My Experience:

Tested swift with new city 1.5,lancer 1.6, xli 2009 and vti oriel 1.8 2008.....all on 7th avenue

Lost to 1.8 by 4-5 cars distance....screwed all others...lancer and city never stood any chance from the start and the distance increased alot while we kept on going to 160km....but xli was alot better than wht i expected, although swift smoked it but not by a very high distance...3-4 cars again....
Now looking forward to race with 1.6 vti oriel 04/05 model...dnt know wht the results would be.....

First of all guys.I have driven Vitz and Swift also and i liked vitz drive over swift.While vitz is used and swift is brand new.Swift's suspension noise on poor roads.
Toyota Vitz won the european car of the year award back in 2000.
Vitz is a lot better in terms of safety.4 stars in frontal crash test.
Toyota vs Suzuki is like a Bird vs Insect.
Swift missed the back wiper while vitz has one.
Power is'nt everything bros.For me comfort and handling is everything.

@ rozzzzz! Bhai we'll compare swift with the vitz available in pak currently which is no newer than 2008! your debate is pointless! as we are not concered about the cars latest models! We are concerned about what we are getting!

compare it with any spec

when buying new means u can import...so 2008 thingi does not matter

with due respect bhai app tu SWIFT ko aisey awards deh rahay hai jaisey yea sab Awards PAK ASSEMBLED SWIFT ko milleh ho lol all of that are given to JAPANESE OR EUROPEON SWIFT,not pak assembled dude.and i hope you knw that there a hell difference between both cars (pak assembled and japan assembled) so don't say swift got award..as the car which is launched here is totally out of dated to the class it got awards.ager pakistan assembled swift apply kerti hai na us list keh lea tu unhoo neh isseh jooota hi marna hai...aur jis VITZ ko app out ker rahay hai na woh JAPAN assembled hai,old but worth it.still better then all these rocket trolleys

Vitz 2003*2004 specially..there market will never be down,offcourse if they are kept in good condition..m not adding newer models just becoz they feel noisy if someone have 2004 before but still they are better then cultus,alto or any other in there class in terms of cabin sound,performance,comfort everything so there market can be a bit down but believe me they are still better then this new swift if compare with every specs except speed,as new swift is 1.3 ...its runs good,that doesn't make it better.you can compare it with vitz 1.3 in terms of speed.if ur soo crazy abt speed and i promise vitz 1.3 will break bone of this new swift (i hope it have one you knw pak suzuki,thoooray kanjoos hai cheezain laganeh mein..but they demand like hell....cultus at 900k lol)

Brothers.Vitz is better than our local swift.Haan if anyone owns a Japanese swift.It will be a different story.But still Vitz is better.Well about the back wiper point.Then why they have missed it.? Ask the Suzuki guys bros.Even Toyota Starlet comes with it.The biggest point i really wants to highlight is AIRBAGS why our suzuki guys just missed an important mark of safety then.?You guys are comparing A Japanese Vitz vs A Locally manufactured Swift.Wake up bros Wake up.

Bhai with all due respect,kehna kitna asaan hai kai price tag is high....lets talk abt vitz 2006/2007 model....engine is 1.0, clearly less duty on the car...even then a used version{pathetically maintained car abroad having no good market in japan} costs 12.5 lakhs....swift is 1.3,and brand new costs 10 buddy...
i agree to whtever u say about pak and japan versions and stuff, but buddy pura ebgine swift ka import ho raha hai, aik aik part filhaal import ho rahay hain,even kai tyres bhi imported hain bhaiya!!!!

i think this ain't correct.. u can easily get a good vitz 2006 - 07 in b/w 9 to 10 lakhs imho..

With all due respect.People are paying 10 for a swift which dont offer a single airbag.Is it our Intelligence.? But i would like to prefer a Japanese Alto over it which cost lot lesser than a swift and alto has 2 airbags.I dont know about others but i always like Comfort,Safety and handling more than performance.

m not comparing both cars with airbag and back wiper only....for me safety is the first concern...and everyone should be aware of...for me any car will work with some proper safety spec like abs and single airbag is compulsory..other then that i don't care whether it runs up like your enzo or not.but i don't like CNG...so you better tune up ur enzo for a race

hmm first of all i don't agree with ur review that japanese vitz 2006-7 having no good market in japan lol its not like that...whtever the sale is..its still more then swift all over the japan aswell...secondly ur talking abt price.dude have a look at currency rates.japanese yen is for 0.97rs damn when i bought my vitz 2003 mashallah it was used to be 0.48rs at that time.so don't blame price...every car is getting expensive ,not becoz there quality is getting better..just becoz our ruppee value is depreciating alot.
pak swift is no doubt one of the best produce cars in pakistan(much improved but still have few cons only! :)..but it still can't be compared with a japan assembled vitz in terms of quality and comfort specially!!! Peace
