New to car audio : Suggestion required for Sound System

Dont go to Hall road if you are looking for quality sound. I highly recommend Entertainment on wheels. He has got excellent quality stuff that no one else has in Lahore.

shops been suggested. but a pre suggestion comes based on your setup. if your going ampless. Yes you should be able to get a good pre in 5k. if you plan to upgrade to amp, then no. You should be looking at a minimum 2 RCA out pre, which normally start from 5k on wards.

Just shop around. It seems you are more of an Alpine/Kenwood guy then a Pioneer. If you ask me for pres, I am biased towards Alpines and Blaupunkt. But those are not PK market choices for various reasons.

Yesterday bought some stuff.., but not much satisfied .,.,.loots of base but not much clarity to that extent to which i was expecting.,
Bought following
Pioneer 6965 V2 @ 5.5K
Pioneer 309 D4 @ (5.2+800 = 6K)
Audio Bank f45 @ 4.2K...

Well one thing that is confusing is that,,There is no true stereo type sound i mean when i hear songs on my iPod there is some tunes that hear like moving from right speaker to left & so on but in Car Audio there is no differentiation,,,
I did asked electrition but he added that "such sorround sound & Dolby Effects are functions of Pre (head Unit)"
Is it true,, should i get some other Pre that support Dolby & SRS ??

eh.... where did you get it from??? which city are you from?

What you are talking about is high end SQ systems. Sound staging and imaging. In car audio that comes with a lot of work and effort and yes a lot more money then 15k. Stereo separation is more difficult to achieve in car audio due to the difference in distance of the left and right channel. You need a high end pre for that with TA. You need a clean SQ amp (branded original stuff only). You need good front components and an SQ subwoofer. Not all of the above you went for. Should have gone to one of the recommended shops.

You got 6x9... and a sub.... which is exactly what the shop keeper wants to sell to you. Not what you wanted... well now you have already spent the cash so unless you want to spend more there is little you can do about it. Cuz staging only comes with front speakers.. not the rear.

laser sound is another good choice

Its not finfal.,I consulted some guys & they proposed me to expand budget to 40~K,,htats why i postpond my planes then soon this trial items came to experiment.,
So,only speakers were new buy from Laser Sound rest of items were bought by friend of mine .,He sold his car last week & proposed me that he will charge me only equipment prices & fitting+box etc will be free as items are only 1-2 months old( 9-6-14)...
According to him Amp is Branded ,,Sub was bought from CITY Sounds Fsd.,
And further more,,Im going to sale my Panasonic Pre & add his Pioneer Pre,,,Will share experience in night if any improvement found on Pre upgrade.,

@irfanor you can get a pretty decent SQ install in 50K. Not loud but pretty detailed. As hulk123 says, you can go to Carnation and they can get you something branded as per your taste. You can also go to EntertainmentOnWheels and you will get good brands as well. I would recommend you go visit both places, listen to the stuff there and then decide.

However, if you are interested in a natural sounding SQ system, I would say have a listen to DLS. Its only available at EntertainmentOnWheels in Pakistan as he is the only authorized DLS dealer and installer atm and DLS is running a special discount on all its range for this Eid. If you want an installed demo of the DLS entry level speakers and amp, let me know.
