The high price of Kizashi in india is due to the fact that it is imported as a built unit which always means immense duties. Local assembly can cut down the price by almost 30%.

2.4l petrol yeah, not likely to make it big. However a 2.0D version may be exactly what's needed.

If it is manufactured by Pak suzuki it will ruin its build quality and still its price will be around 2.4 Million, even then it will find no buyer:P.

Sir, i think they will not ruin it. You can take example of Swift as of now i never heard any user complaint about the build quality with Swift.

So why not the same should be offered in Kizashi.

I really hope that they would launch a alto k10 model like in India and SX4 hatch in replacement of cultus and also a kizashi having m-16 as its heart.

Now Liana will sell like hot cake and also used car market will also see a rise in prices due to this discontinuity and suspension.

If they put 1.6 in Kizashi. it will loose its charm, it will become a big fat old lady unable to move:). Kizashi is a luxury car and in my opinion Pak suzuki can't build a good luxury car. It is a car of the segmemt of Hyndai sonata,volkswagon passat,Toyota camry and honda accord, trimming it down will be unfair to it.

To replace cultus they need to launch Ritz(Splash) and A-star to replace alto.

haha istafa bhai i just check from suzuki sethi motors here in lahore and according to them may be next week suzuki will announce mehran in 660 cc efi engine however he is not sure about same old tin body or in new designe;)

dont ever think of alto on petrol , it drinks pterol more than rolla
but on cng its millage is ok but still less than cultus

i see new ALTO every day since day i got it too much demand for ALTO now a days

the reason could be simple frined got a new mehran vxr and with reg plus some matts it costed him above 7 as he got mehroo on Own money and he is now regreting buying it
and why pay 7 for mehran in which A/C wont work etc etc then add 1 to 1.5 more and get ALto it may not be a good car but atleast better then mehran

Not at all, none of these cars can make any difference to honda or toyota.

Kizashi is a high end model with high price(it is 2400 cc car).In india its price starts at 32 Lac Pakistani rupee. So if it comes here it will have around same price and who will buy it ??? so confirm flop.

SX4 is also not a hit anywhere so bound for the same fate as liana.

mehran and bolan are suspended, i guess they are in for an engine change, emissions requirement i guess.

mehran and bolan both are suspended coz both are using in Govt. of Punjab's Yellow cabs and Pak Suzuki can't meet its demand.
