Lolzz are you a retard? Comparing a pro body with a consumer dslr and then saying A>B? Here are some facts for you that snapshit didnt tell you:
1. You cannot mount AF or older lenses on D5100 becuase it doesnt have built in AF motor
2. D5100 has pentamirror and this has penta-prism. Brighter and better view-finder
3. D5100 is plastic and this is magnesium alloy with weather sealing
4. D5100 has 4fps burst mode and this has 7fps burst mode
5. D5100 has 11 focus points and this has 51 focus point and a much much faster autofocus
6. Extra command dial, customizable buttons, commander flash mode, 7 frame bracketing and the list goes on and on.

Lesson: Do your research and know your camera before blurting it out to others and getting embarrassed. The D300 is a far superior camera compared to the D5100. Even the D5200 and 5300 cannot match its specs although their image quality may be better.

I have also given it a long hard look but then decided that I dont really need full frame for the kind of photography I do. Plus full frame lenses are sooooo damn expensive. Why not consider the D610? Its image quality is stunning.

I don't like the way its body feels. Held a D700, felt perfect. Bonus things are the FPS and 51 focusing points and it's cheaper.

So Ive decided not to sell this camera. I have ordered a D5300 exclusively for videos and as my backup body. Thanks for the interest.
