i have seen one black Tida in cantt near rahat bakery. But personaly i dont like it as far as shape is concerned. front suits a hatch back rather than a sedan.

Apparently a much better option than the City or the Liana, but if it is not available in 1.3l guise and is priced at the amounts mentioned, than it is dead before it even started off.

To break the market of the City you need price competitiveness on a huge scale. The market in Pakistan relies on resale value and this car will need some time to actually make a market for itself, these prices are for an established brand/model.

People would still rather go for a City or Corolla, even if they have to pay more, just for the reason that it will sell at a higher price than the Tiida two or three years down the road.

The price seems steep.
The Nissan Tiida is also being launched in US as Nisssan Versa, but price is way less than what they are planning to charge in Pakistan.

In Pak, the Manual will be selling at $14,500 and Automatic at $17,000

But in US same car, Versa/Tidda/Tiida is being introduced at $9,900 and it is most likely an automatic as almost all the cars sold in US are Automatic.

Should not cost more than 1.1 million for the base version with Toyota Corolla Xli specs, atleast.

Nissan Tida is Nissan Sunny and it use to be called Nissan pulsar in england and europe under same shape. I myself have seen pulsars in england with same shapes and specifications and is also mentioned in this article

Just confirmed from Nissan Rawalpindi - launching from Feb. 1st. Prices for Sunny are 1.34 million for 1.3L and 1.38 million for 1.6L. Prices of TIIDA yet to be announced.
