I have always heard nissan patrols 4.2 engines. Recently saw an ad someone selling a nissan safari with a 3.0 turbo engine. The ad stated it is a safari spirit. My questions:
1) what is the difference between a patrol and a safari?
2) what is a safari spirit?
3) do safaris come with a 3.0 turbo engine?
4) if i buy a safari 3 door with a 4.2 can i install a turbo on it?

Patrol is the Export version while the Safari was Japenese Domestic Market

3 Door Safari (Top Trim)
3) do safaris come with a 3.0 turbo engine?
Y61 came with a 3.0L Turbo Diesel and Y60 with 2.8L Turbo Diesel
4) if i buy a safari 3 door with a 4.2 can i install a turbo on it?
Non-turbo engines also require internals to be changed as well to install a turbo. So you need a fat wallet or you can just buy the turbo version.

Low roof Y60 Safaris are extremely rare in Pakistan, let alone in very good to excellent condition. I have been looking for one for a long long time without any success. Hopefully I can find one soon.

Yes that one. Well the others I saw were two years ago so can't say about them. But there was one on fazlihaq road. The fellow was asking fifteen, white in colour, appeared quite neat

i have seem many cars. as i see it. A three door should be around 8 or max 9.

people ask more than market price and then they expect that price.

How much did you buy your car for and how much have you spent on it?

i think 9 ki bhee lai ker 2-3 lakh lagana paray gai within a year on it.
