It was Friday and we went for a full day trip to Alexandria.

The drive is of around 2 hours and Alexandria is heavily influenced by European style of construction and city building.

The city is spread alongside the sea coast and the big road runs along with seashore passing by many interesting buildings, places etc.

Our first destination was Qaitbay Citadel.

It is said that the citadel was built at the place where another Wonder of The World "Lighthouse of Alexandria" was situated. So, in one tour we were visiting second place which was once honoured with presence of Wonder of the World.
