If O level is scheduled for 3 years by a school, then usually

O1 = 8th grade
O2 = 9th grade
O3 = 10th grade

If O level is scheduled for 2 years by a school, then usually
O1 = 9th grade
O2 = 10th grade

But every school has its own system.

Maybe O4 is specifically designed for those who cannot pass O levels even after multiple attempts [emoji1].

Don't students usually only give Pakistan studies and islamiat exams in 10th and finish O levels after 11th grade? At least that's what I've seen in most schools in Karachi

Sharing my awful experience from O'levels, We had last Pak Studies exam and i went on with a friend after exam to subway, Got myself a chill pill, But just for a second, Thought came what if somehow we would be again in same situation giving these exams as i hated Pak Studies. After 15 days the retakes were announced. I did not bother to study for 10 days, Studied a day before exams and relied upon previous stuff mostly. Got A* in Islamiat and A in Pakistan Studies.

I also remeber this retake crap. I got 2A's in the end. I remember leaving a couple of topics of Isl P2 thinking they'll never come or maximum only one would come and i would leave it and attempt the other question. In the end both came and i almost fainted. In the end A aa gya but it was one hell of a close call! No idea why i didnt get a A* in Pak studies though.
