This is really great and cheap
i have it one i attaching the pictures with complete software of Mercedes Benz and bmw and all cars from 2001 to till date
i purchase 169000/- rupees and if any one wana buy final is 170000/-
the only observation with ELM327 which is very cheap, i have is that it doesn't seem to be CAN compliant, and whether it will be able to run ScanXL software to the fullest extent which seems to be excellent. What do u guys say?
^^ ELM 327 is CAN compatible. See http://www.elmelectronics.com/obdic.html#ELM327
However most cars in Pakistan, like Corolla, City, Santro use ISO 9141-2 protocol
Thanks Xplorer, but the site link that u quoted it shows that this device uses ISO 9141-2 protocol, you don't think that this will be useful? And what about the other OBDLink? Please help
ELM 327 is multi-function OBDII Interpreter IC. It provides an RS232 to OBDII data bridge for systems that use the ISO 15765-4 CAN, SAE J1850 PWM, SAE J1850 VPW, ISO 9141-2, ISO 14230-4 and SAE J1939 protocols.
go for scan gauge
http://www.scangauge.com/
So it supports ISO 9141-2?, does that mean it is ok for cars available for Pakistan? And how is OBDLink, does it offer anything more than ELM327?
Assalamualaikum,
