you will have to test it to confirm it, though i have a similar compactscan5, its usb instead of Bluetooth, but i guess have the same chip, and it didn't worked on 07 vitz having 1kr-fe

1. For a 4K device , you'll burn 2k fuel for back and forth to inspect ?! That seems pretty efficient !

2. Inspection of device is not necessary, many Pakwheelers including Site Admin (Jz) have bought the Adapter and it is working with them flawlessly. You should check the old entries in this thread and the following thread for reference

After becoming a father priorities change. You keep ur own interests at least priority as compared to ur kids.

OBD II is an international standard buddy. That is why they are called standards , either JDM or XYZ, If the vehicle is OBD II complaint, it will work. ONe of the client bought it for Yaris and is pretty happy with it.

I doubt that, it Didn't work with Swift 2010. Works with Honda, Toyota, and even Mercedes. Don't know which standard Pak suzuki follows

^^^ Cultus (EFI) and Swift are OBD-I compliant and may be Liana also.
ELM327 is only for OBD-II.
