I have put ?Naran because I think it looks more like Anarkali, so why not call it NARAKALI, rather than The Naran?
Anyway, starting from the Shinno Nala, we cruised right past Naran, actually both ways, and reached Baissel. I may have misspelled this beautiful spot. It is absolutely wonderful.
We reached late in the evening. Spent another two hours in setting up tents. and the night had a full moon: thrilling. Could not pick up many scenes with my not-so-expensive camera, and not-so-perfect digital skills!
The morning was beautiful, but warm, no chill, and therefore, no thrill . Night was cold. Dinner was cooked on a big 'Tawa' on wood fire: too hungary to bother about taste, we gulped it down. The meat was a little 'half-cooked', but the carnivores that the Pathans are, we never bothered.
We had breakfast at a small hotel in Baissel, and moved on to Babusar through the Lulusar Lake.
Two pictures here show a turbine that the local people have installed on a self-help basis. These generate cheap or free electricity. Wonder why Government can not generate cheap hydel power?
